"First impressions of people make lasting impressions. When I went to check in I wasn’t greeted with a smile, hello…nothing. The male clerk at the counter wasn’t that pleasant either. His attitude made me feel I was an inconvenience. There was a woman in there who was nice and at checkout the other woman was nice as well. Due to this man’s demeanor I will never stay there again and will not recommend this place. The building is older, but it is a

"My wife and I wanted a true Alaskan experience as we fished the surrounding rivers for a few days. Wow! This delightful log home gives you the feel of being in the wilderness yet still a short drive in to the surrounding towns. We had a very comfortable room with a shared bath. But the best part of this stay was our host. Becky is a delightful lady who opens her home and makes you feel like family. Her breakfasts are truly gourmet. Highly recommend."
