Quiet 14-person vacation home, ideal for families, with a heated pool

  • Enjoy a stay in the countryside with your family and friends in a quiet place, not overlooked. <br>Our cottage offers a fully equipped kitchen, a large living/dining room. The garden is private with heated swimming pool from May to September and deckchairs.<br>On the 1st floor, 2 bedrooms await you with 2 bathrooms.<br>On the 2nd floor, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.<br><br>The cottage is adjoining our other cottage the "Caux'gîte". Possibility to rent the 2 (26 people).<br>Free parking shared by the 2 cottages.<br>The 5000m² wooded park is accessible and shared by several cottages.<br><br>You can go for walks in the forest. <br>The cottage is located 5 minutes from the Bocasse amusement park and the Clères zoological park.<br>At the foot of the A150, you are 15 minutes from the historic centre of Rouen (Historial Jeanne d'Arc), 45 minutes from Dieppe (voted the most beautiful market in France in 2020), 1h30 from the beaches of Deauville and 2 hours from Mont-Saint-Michel<br><br>We allow hen nights and hen nights or birthdays.

Nice accommodation but some areas in need of improvement

On arrival hot tub disgusting not fit to use, however this was rectified quickly and sorted on the Monday. 1st floor toilet out of order meaning guest had to use toilet on other floors which was very inconvenient with children. Curtain poles in bedroom fell down every time a window was opened or closed. No lamps worked in that bedroom and several light bulbs were not working throughout the property. It was very dark downstairs lighting could do with upgrading. No hand basin in downstairs toilet. Pool cleaned on Wednesday evening but equipment left in situ until 1pm the following day. The actual pool was very nice. Clean bed linen and comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped Not a problem for us but no English speaking TV channels. Overall property was clean but many cobwebs . Information booklet provided was comprehensive apart from recycling info as insufficient bins to match the guide and black sacks not big enough for bins. Spacious living accommodation for 14 and the secure pool gate was excellent. Friendly customer personnel

The owners were fantastic and helpful, with the gite and finding garage to repair flat tyre. House amazing and cool in the hot weather, however is beginning to look a little tired. But would certainly return again

Nous avons passés un très bon moment entre amis, dans la grande maison de Mélanie avec de nombreuses chambres et une piscine chauffé ( à partagé avec le 2eme gite dans la même maison ) Propriétaires agréables, disponibles et réactifs pour vous aider à organiser votre séjour. Je vous recommande vivement ce lieu.
