The check in was smooth and easy. The room is decent but cleanliness can be improved. The walls in the restroom were dirty and there was spider webs on the corner wall next to the toilet. Also the wall next to the bathroom sink was dirty. The beds are decent but can definitely be upgraded. They squeak and mattress is too soft. The biggest issue tho was when I got up to take a shower and there was no hot water. I called the front desk and they said they were having an issue with the heater. They did offer to use the shower in another room but this was a huge inconvenience. Also one of the house keeping ladies was peeking through the window to see if we were still occupying the room. And this was still before checkout time. She should have knocked instead of looking through the window. I have stayed here before and I had no issue on my prior stay. Not sure if I’d stay here again.

Great hotel, superb staff. Nicole was amazing. They were super kind, and it's really close to the convention center for those of us going to the NAMM show. Well-priced. Worth it.

I had a great stay! Room was spacious and comfortable. In the bathroom my window was broken and could easily be opened from the inside or outside. Also the shower sprayed water all over the bathroom floor, which made it tricky to keep the water from spreading. Other than the bathroom issues my stay was great!

This was a great location for a solo traveller, which I was. The staff at the front desk were amazing. The parking can be a little tight, but it all works out. You can tell this ownership has done a lot to refurbish the place, and it shows! The rooms were perfect and I thought the bed and bedding were incredibly comfy!

The room itself was very nice and clean. We had the king size bed with bunk bed above. Though the mattress for the king was very soft. However, the main criticism is the check in process. This is the first hotel I have been to (and I am over 50 yo) that would not let you check in early without a fee. If the room wasn't ready, all the hotels I have been at, would let you check in, store you luggage and you just come back for your key later. But this did not happen at this hotel. So we arrived early. Saw a sign on the door that said they would be back in 10 min. Did not arrive until an hour and half later. If I knew that I would have left and come back. Anyways, check in was at 4 pm. Office opened at 3 pm. Went to check in and was informed that it would be an extra $25 to check in early. So waited in our car for another hour so we could check in. I will compliment the staff though. The front desk and housekeeping was very nice, but I don't know if I will stay here again

Overall great stay. Bed was comfy and the room was very clean. Close to Disney. About a 30 min walk. We used uber and it was easy and cheap to get to and from the park. Our only complaints were the room was very small and there was no coffee.

We've stayed at Magnolia Tree many times in the past. Could be cleaner. Our bathroom shower had gunk built up around the door and the seal was broken. We stayed in a king room. Not a fan of the bunk over the king size bed. It difficult to get in/out of without hitting your head. We miss the continental breakfast MT used to have. There is a small refrigerator in the room but no microwave. The room was spacious and had several tables and a chair, which was a bonus.

The gal that checked me in was very rude and not welcoming at all. She had an attitude when she was trying to process my checkin because my ID “wasn’t scanning”. I asked if there was anything else she needed from me and she very rudely said “I don’t need anything from you, I’m just telling you”. Super bitter way to start our stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok, but the half ply toilet paper you provide is shameful. I held it up and could literally see through it. Also, be a little more lenient on check-in time. We arrived 25 minutes before check and were told we had to pay a $35 fee to check in early. We sat in the car for 25 minutes because that is absolutely ridiculous. Then when we checked in the gal said she wasn’t sure if there were any rooms available. Why would you tell us to pay a fee if there weren’t any rooms available?? So disappointing.

My stay was fine. The room was comfortable. It felt sketch at first but the hotel caters to Disneyland visitors so you’re in like minded company. I literally just slept there so I could wake up early to go to Disneyland first thing with friends visiting. Bed was very comfortable. Room was not fancy but fairly updated and clean.

This is a nice hotel the water pressure is very good and the bathroom is remodeled and nice the shower head is huge. I liked that they came in everyday while we were gone and just placed toilet paper and gave us clean towels and also we went to the beach and asked to have the floor swept and linens changed and they did it quickly. This was perfect for last minute trip! And it’s not that far from Disneyland

We only stayed a few nights here. It’s quiet and clean. Beds are okay. The pillows are quite thin. Parking is $10. We never had an issue with anything

The staff is super friendly and helpful and the location is not too far from Disney (we did Uber) but you could walk. Things that were disappointing were, upon arrival the air conditioning in the room was completely shut off so our room was sweltering hot. We arrived at 9:30pm so this made climbing into bed and getting some rest miserable because it took quite awhile for the room to cool off. Also the air conditioning started making a horrible noise during the night. Each time the compressor kicked on it sounds like a motorcycle starting in our room. So loud!!! We did ask the staff to either repair the unit while we were out for the day or switch us rooms. We were told someone would repair it. When we arrived back to the room that evening it sounded better but in theme middle of the night started making noise again. So frustrating. We ended leaving a night early to head home. Couldn’t take another sleepless night.

This was our first stay at Magnolia and we were so pleasantly surprised at how caring and accommodating the staff was. From ensuring that we arrived safely to still make check-in to even extending our check-out time when we needed to sleep in after a long night, the staff truly went above and beyond and we cannot thank them enough! Parking is plentiful and spacious and not crazy expensive at $10 a night which is worth it, in my opinion. The surrounding areas are much safer compared to other areas of LA. LOTS of dining options within walking distance. Our room was clean & spacious for 2 people. Full size pumps of shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the bathroom- something you rarely see in hotels anymore! Uber rides to and from Disney weren't more than $10. Not to mention this hotel is incredibly affordable compared to others in the area. An amazing experience for our first time back in Anaheim after years. Thank you, Magnolia Tree! We'll be back.

Rude Staff!
This place is such a pain!! Not only is the parking lot filthy to the point my new shoes were covered by dirt just from walking from my car to the room, the staff are so rude! Refused to provide me with a receipt for my stay so now I may need to dispute charges if they are incorrect. Such a poorly run hotel, especially saying they charge for parking but don’t guarantee a parking spot! Save your money and stay elsewhere!!

I liked the hotel. It was simple but comfy. The windows have shutters so you definitely have privacy. The only thing I would have liked to see is blackout curtains to block out light in the morning. Also had to go to the front desk to ask for an iron and ironing board. So make it a point at check in I’m case you will need it the following morning Other than that, the people at the front desk were very kind. Thank you for your hospitality.

BAD SMELL LIKE CURRY
Stayed here before so I decided to book again, however, I don’t think I will be staying here in the near future. Staff were friendly, actually went above and beyond to make things better. We checked in to our room and when we walked in the room smelled like STRAIGHT UP SPICES “Curry” TO BE SPECIFIC. The smelled was so strong we informed the receptionist and she offered to spray febreeze, which helped for a fee minutes, but the smell was penetrated on the mattress and sheets. We ended up having to buy a candle. Everything else was fine. Close to everything.

I really enjoyed my stay. My only recommendation is to bring ear plugs; not sure why but it was loud. The hotel guests were loud in the hallway and I heard lots of loud cars passing by at night. Other than that, rooms are clean and it’s a cute hotel. 22 min walk to Disney
