Loved that this is a rehabbed property made up of several historical buildings. The property is very unique! Excellent location! Quiet area. Friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was sound. Old building = less soundproofing.

I absolutely loved everything about staying here. The area around the facility is great! It is just outside Amsterdam Center, so it is not too crazy with tourists. The neighborhood is basically surrounding the University of Amsterdam, so it has a cool vibe with students, nice places to eat, etc. If you want to go to the Holocaust Museums, they are all around this area (except the Anne Frank House). It is also a short walk, Tram ride or Uber drive into the Center where Adam Square and all the tourist sites are located. The hotel itself is renovated, clean, modern with great furnishings, etc. the staff was wonderful! Overall staying here was awesome!

Liked: nice room; had 2 beds and 2 baths, so lots of space; can walk to all areas of centrum within 30 minutes; nice place overall! Disliked: earliest check in time was 4:00 pm (very late) and we couldn’t get our room until 5:30 pm! They blamed it all on other customers that checked out late and lack of cleaning staff. After complaining, we were offered a bottle of wine. That’s it!
