"Close to the Hepburn Palais, wine bars, Room excellently clean and everything you need for a staycation. Great communication from motel manager and price perfect. Only downside was the very hard bed, somewhat uncomfortable to sleep in, softer mattress required for a 100% review . Hopefully our next stay will see a more comfortable mattress. "

"Very cool design of the front patio/deck (like we were sailing with the oars, steering wheel, lantern etc) , cosy interior cabin with gorgeous art selections (loved these inside and outside), comfy and clean with all required essentials. Carembeen park on the doorstep was perfect for us and the 2 dogs who loved running around exploring everything. Host was very kind, efficient and clear with all communication. Recommend this for anyone who wants a break from the city/suburban life without requiring too far a drive. Creswick town was quite pleasant too with great restaurants and cafes , and did we have the space would have loved to carry home a few pieces from the vintage and aet shops around. Did not know John Curtin was born there."

"It was a lovely stay with delicious breakfast and beautiful garden at the back for a walk in the morning. They had late check in available till 11pm which was really helpful for us. We will definitey come back to explore more."
