"The property is so beautiful and convenient to downtown. We were greeted so nicely by front desk staff and the lobby was 5 star over looking the lake. The room was great with a view of the lake. Breakfast was wonderful and we had our coffee on the dock, even seeing a young bald eagle in a tree. It’s the only place we’ll stay in Hayward and we’ll definitely be back."

"Absolutely will recommend this wonderful place and we will be back. The river was so peaceful (no mosquitoes!)Clean, comfortable, with everything you would need. Close to town yet so secluded w/ deer sightings every evening. And the sunsets were phenomenal!"

"Thank you for the stay! We came with 6 young children and 5 adults and had enough sleeping space. The swim area was nice and quiet given that the cabin is located in a bay, so we didn’t need to worry about other boats when the kids were swimming. We brought our dog along, and we had no issues whatsoever with the next door neighbor’s dog. Their dog always stayed on their property and didn’t bark at ours at all when we were outside with her. I only mention this because I was concerned ahead of time, but there was no issue at all. Also, the host found one of my little niece’s stuffed animals that was left behind and kindly shipped for us. Also, very quick and easy drive to Hayward. Thank you!"

"Overall stay was okay. Where we had to take some stars was the cleanliness — spiderwebs in most corners and pillow covers were dirty. Not what you want to be thinking about during your holiday! Internet didn’t work for the TV, so we called host and he said we’d have to hotspot through our phones. He was responsive and quickly answered, but fortunately we even had service to make the call and hotspot."
