"It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience. Other than that my room was very good with a kitchen."

"We came for the pool, but unfortunately it was closed for construction, surrounded by very unattractive bright orange fencing. Neither the hotel’s website nor Expedia mentioned that the pool was closed, so we were very disappointed. However, the property is cute and rustic. The restaurant is very good, the staff is pleasant, and the view is stunning."

"The property is gorgeous. There is no prettier setting. The food and wine were excellent. We found the service marginal at best. It was not customer centric, and there was much more that couldn’t be done than we have experienced anywhere else. I understand that a “yes” is not always possible, but a mindset that is “can-do” to find solutions is what is helpful. Also, we were flabbergasted that after extremely expensive spa treatments, they charged an additional 100 euros for use of the other spa amenities, like hot tubs etc. we thought that outrageous."

"Small hotel-- which we liked. It's on the main street, so depending on the room you get, you are subject to street noise if windows are open. The shared terrace is a nice place to sit outside. Great location near all the spots to visit and to restaurants. Clean room. Front desk staff nice and helpful. Breakfast room attendant not particularly warm and welcoming. We didn't have much luck getting her to smile. The breakfast itself was perfectly fine."

"The apartment was great. Amazing large stone building with nice modern touches. Getting there by car was only slightly harrowing with Orvieto's narrow roads; a staff member was helpful in getting us to the parking garage in one piece. The staff member was also helpful in giving us Orvieto recommendations since we were there only one night. Would recommend!"
