The hotel is located at the quiet end of the area, with stunning views out to the Coral Coast. The pool area is beautiful and the surrounding gardens are well kept. There is a great buffet breakfast on offer and also another restaurant right on the waters edge. The room service menu is a little small. Everything was clean and tidy, although we were only given 1 piece of soap for our entire stay and toilet paper appeared to be on rations! The day before our last night we were only given one new towel and no hand towels or bathmats. I'm not sure what's going on with room keeping, but this needs addressing. Its a short walk to the restaurants which was great!

Chateau Royalw was wonderful. It is kept spotlessly clean and the staff go out of there to help you with anything you need. The pool area is beautiful and the bar will come by with free mini drinks or fruit to help you keep cool. The spa is excellent, we had two different treatments and they were both worth every penny. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. We had a partial ocean view. The balcony was tilted downward, and pretty small so we never really used it. My only complaint is they were putting in a new gate so the area to go down to the water had an ugly orange temporary fence and plywood, but by the time we left the new fence was almost inn. I would definitely come back to this property again.

We stayed 8 nights in an over water bungalow, I think you would be disappointed if you didn’t stay in an over water bungalow and stayed in one of the other rooms. The staff were really nice everywhere and spoke good English. Boat transfers were easy to navigate however it’s not very nice getting the smaller boat in the morning and at night, if we did our trip again, we would of spent a little less time here and had a few nights around lemon bay somewhere. Swimming was great, however not as nice as the beaches at isle of pines. Food was a little bit of a let down but the snack bar was great. Didn’t see any sharks and only saw one snake. Seagulls were annoying, ruined being able to eat outside, the pool bar also wasn’t open at all when we were there.

Walkable distance (10-15min) to the Natural Pool. Most of the staff were supportive but some were rude to guests who didn't speak French. Breakfast was okay, not many options. There is no restaurants, shops around the area, so make sure to bring your own meal if you don't want to dine at the same restaurant for a few days.
