"The staff were very welcoming and ready to assist. Each room was unique and beautifully furnished. These were cleaned to a very high standard. The food for breakfast was excellent as was the other food available. Nice to have thick pancakes and different options. Also good to see recycling in using reusable glass bottles which were filled every day and could be filled as often as required. Plenty of places close by to eat. Would have been good to have a tv in the room as we struck a very wet day. Would highly recommend. "

"Staff were wonderful. Charming, old style hotel. Beautiful grounds and perfectly situated. Rooms very tired despite the rustic charm and bathrooms need a desperate clean. Sink and shower didn’t drain. Mosquitos immensely bad and bed nets full of holes. Understandable that mosquitos are abundant but other hotels seem to manage. Still, grateful for a quiet, pleasant stay and the generous, kind staff. "
