"The property is older and there are smoking rooms in the 4th floor. If you have asthma or fragrance sensitivities to smoke, you may want to book somewhere else. I was on the third floor and had difficulty breathing. The lady at the front desk was very nice and moved me to another room on the other side of the 3rd floor, but I think the older carpets absorb the odors and the smoke smell still lingered. Maybe the first two floors are better. I still rate the hotel 4 stars because the breakfast was great and the staff are helpful and friendly."

"First time going to Jersey me and my dad booked a one nice day and then we realized we needed a second night to come back and shower at first there was no rooms available, but I checked in with the front and they were very accommodating and they put us at the top of the priority list when they found out we were from out of state visiting and they gave us a second day and first room available. I will be forever grateful and hopefully when I come back to Jersey, which I will be planning for I could stay with them again."

"An absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind, this is an old hotel. It does not have an elevator, so if you have an aversion to stairs, you should reconsider your stay. However, the rooms are large and spacious and very well equipped. They have a great coffee bar in the morning with fresh baked goods, which are excellent. We are originally from NJ, and the restaurant is an iconic place for dinner. The only negative, I will say is that the carpets are a little tired and need to be replaced. Overall an excellent place to stay and we have already booked our second visit with them."
