"Lovely property and location. Everything you could possibly need in the property. Fan a bit loud in bathroom. Parking little tight when full but doable "

"Bedroom wall had bad damp all over one wall which left a musty smell. Main room had only one blind which meant sun light woke me up at 4/30 am. Terrible mattress which was awful to sleep in. "

"The location is central Grasmere so everything is close to hand. It is a traditional house so expect it to be darkish inside, not a problem as we were out on the fells every day. The owner is most helpful and very handy. The instructions are very modest but our experience of 50+ self-catering holidays meant that was no problem. The car parking is very useful and especially with EV charging included!! Well done Martin."

"We enjoyed staying in the apartment and it has a stunning view over the lake. Overall we had a great stay but there were teething troubles including finding and switching on the WiFi, hooking up the telly and making it actually work, switching on the heating and warming the apartment. On the plus side, once warm it was very comfortable..."

"Great central location. Property was well appointed and comfortable. We thought an earlier check in would have improved our experience as it was a very wet day and we were soaking. We didn’t find the cutlery drawer until the next day - we searched everywhere . We eventually rang up and we’re told it was in a hidden drawer . We are still laughing now - it is obvious now we know 😂"

"Really good cottage only about 2 mins walk from centre of Ambleside. Had everything you need for a nice simple stay in the lakes. Great views from the front room over the hills. They’ve just had a car parking space put in which is very handy. Great communication with owner throughout. Would definitely come back."
