Be at home behind the Yellow Door!! Centrally located with easy access to 1-40, you are minutes away from downtown events like our Amarillo Wrangler hockey, Sod Poodle baseball, and the famous Route 66 on 6th street.

Enjoy quiet pleasant evenings in the back around the fire pit, grilling your favorite meal, or shooting some hoops with the kids!!

This three bedroom, 1 bath completely remodeled home sleeps six comfortably. You will find a fully stocked kitchen complete with a drip coffee maker and local coffee grinds to make you feel at home.

There is a circle driveway and an attached one car garage that can accommodate a car or small SUV. Bonus gated parking in the back as well.

I had a nice stay, as usual. I’m always glad when this home is available because it’s a nice house, everything is well organized, and the host is so sweet. The backyard is nice, as well. The home is always clean.

Great location & So Cute & Clean

Cannot say enough about this listing! The house was truly in the perfect location. Easy to get to my favorite coffee spot in Amarillo and even though there’s only one bathroom, it is so spacious and it is very easy to share with the family of four. Will rent again!!

Quiet neighborhood

We had a great stay! The backyard was a nice place to relax at the end of the day. Our kids also enjoyed playing basketball and sitting on the patio. Our only complaint was how uncomfortable the beds were. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved this place! It was very comfortable, quiet but close to hop onto major roads and get around. All comforts were available and the spacious backyard was a peaceful place to hang out. There is no need to look for another place. This is it!

Winter Vacation

My family stayed at the Yellow Door for one night on the way to Colorado. The house was even better than we expected. It is very nicely decorated and was spotless. My kids enjoyed playing basketball out back. The beds were comfortable and the house is well equipped. We will definitely plan to stay again on future journeys! Thank you for a great stay!

Adorable listing right in the heart of Amarillo. Very convenient to I-40 & restaurants. Very clean & modern. Host does a great job with detail and decor. Huge backyard - perfect to let small kids burn off energy. We will be back.

Smooth & Clean

We booked this cute house around 24 hours before arrival for a business trip. The check-in and checkout was smooth and easy. When we arrived, the house smelled as if it had just been cleaned, which was a plus for us. The house was spotless and in what seemed like a safe area. That’s what matters to us. Great Space for a Family of Four

The house was perfect for our stay while visiting family. Everything was labeled and well organized. The furnishings were great, especially with two little kids. My son loved playing in the large backyard. Kendra was extremely responsive and kind. We will definitely be back.

Comfy Like Home

This is our second stay. The house was just as comfortable and homey as our first stay. The house is always clean, and all items are easy to find, if you need anything. Kendra is always sweet and kind. I don't have any complaints. I hope to be able to stay here again when I'm in the area because I know there won't be any problems, and it's a beautiful, safe, and clean place to stay.

Host thought of everything!

This place is perfect for anyone but I highly recommend staying here with your family! We stayed with our 3 little kids and loved it. Kendra thought of everything- everything is labeled and easy to find. Our favorite feature was the backyard. It’s huge and awesome- chalk, outdoor dining, basketball net. This is a really, really nice place to stay. Worth the money and deserving of its perfect 5 star review.

Clean and Cozy

First of all, Kendra was really nice and professional, and willing to answer all questions. She always was available to answer my calls. She was very organized. She labeled all the cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen, which made it very convenient. The backyard is really nice and big. The patio area is nice also. We didn't have any issues during our stay at all. We would definitely stay again.

This home. Was so well planned and the thoughtfulness that went into it is amazing. Everything you could want is here. The comfort level is through the roof! I want to give it a lower rating because I think it will become so popular I wont be able to get it next time Im in Amarillo! Thak you for a great accommodation!

Hibachi birthday dinner

Kendra was absolutely amazing! I was looking for a back yard with tall trees to host a surprise hibachi birthday dinner and this home offered everything I needed and more! There is a guest guidebook you can use that was very impressive! Every VRBO home should have this!! Forgot bug spray, no worries Kendra will offer to stop what she’s doing to bring you some! Don’t forget to bring your s’mores and wine to enjoy fire pit! Rest and relax here!

We were traveling through several states, were very tired when we arrived and pleasantly surprised at how wonderful a place Kendra has! Great stay in Amarillo!

Beautiful, cozy, updated home with nothing overlooked. Attention to detail and cleanliness is top notch. Kendra has thought of everything! The house is very well equipped, from toys, movies, paper goods, toiletries, extra blankets, anything at all you need. She is a very good communicator, very friendly and was available anytime we needed anything. Location was very close to anything we needed. We were attending an event at the civic center and were only 5 mins away. If I only had one recommendation, our bed wasn’t the most comfortable, maybe a mattress topper would be beneficial. We would definitely stay here again!
