The Lake House - Hot tub with Lake view!

The Lake House is perfect for those looking to make life-long memories in the Hocking Hills.

The Lake House is located in the private Holiday Haven community and is located off of a private gravel drive. While the house does have its own dock, guests will have access to the community beach, dock and picnic shelter located just around the corner from Lake House.

Recently updated, the Lake House is one of the few water front properties in the Holiday Haven community. Upon entering, you walk into the open concept living area with full kitchen, dining table for 6 and living room. In the kitchen you will find an electric range, microwave, fridge, pots, pans and other cooking essentials. For the mornings sitting by the fire or enjoying the views from the upper deck, you can make your cup off coffee with our Keurig or drip coffee maker.

From the living area, you can enjoy views of the woods and water while sitting by the propane fireplace or watching tv. There is a Roku smart tv, DVD player, and gaming system. Off of the living area is the main floor bedroom, it features a queen bed and Roku smart tv. The main floor also features the full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. On the second floor you will find a loft area and second bedroom. The loft area overlooking the main floor has a twin daybed with a trundle and a newly added large window with views of the water. The second bedroom has a full bed and small area off of it with kids toys and bean bag chairs.

In the basement you will find the pool table room, with a bar table and chairs, pool table, Roku smart tv and games. Off of the pool table room there is the lower deck with the hot tub and a sunroom sitting area. Looking to enjoy the outdoors, we have a fire pit area with bench seating, a private dock, 2 kayaks and canoe. Want to stay connected during your stay, there is wifi and a landline phone available. Dish and hand soap are provided and the washer and dryer are available for guest use.

Please note, the property is located off of a gravel road in a private community. FWD/AWD is recommended.

For the security of our guests and the safety of our home we have an external security camera located on the front of the house facing the parking area.

Great Spot

The lake house weekend getaway!

Although the roads are very pot holey everything was wonderful! We appreciate the hospitality and the place is gorgeous! Our family spent time on the water, playing pool and around the fire pit! We will for sure be back soon!! Perfect for our long weekend away from life’s busy hustle and bustle!

The Lake House was awesome!

Very cool location on the water, stayed in winter time and sites were beautiful. Pool table and Hot Tub were highlights for us, but will be bringing the kids back in the future for a summer time stay. Propety owners were very responsive to any questions and concerns, and overall we had a great time! Would highly recommend!

Family Getaway

A great little place to unplug enjoy time with family. We enjoyed the kayaks on the lake and the firepit for quality time in the evenings. The rental came with everything we needed for a little getaway including games, a pool table, and hottub. Very quiet area that was not far from Old Mans Cave which we enjoyed during the day.

Perfect getaway

We've stayed at many places in Hocking in the past, and this has been one of our favorites! Location was perfect , we really enjoyed the views and amenities of the cabin. It's cozy and clean, and completely met our expectations. Didn't catch any fish in the lake. We were curious if it was stocked or if there was just little bluegill in there, but either way, we enjoyed the entire weekend and would absolutely return!

Beautiful Setting

Went to do a few days of hiking at Hocking Hills. The house is about 30 min drive to most of the main hiking spots. The trees make it feel secluded. The view of the lake is amazing. Spent most of our time outdoors either on the dock, at the fire pit, on the deck, or in the hottub.

Happy anniversary!

Spent our 58th wedding anniversary here. had an enjoyable time even though it was somewhat curtailed by bad weather. All in all it was worth the trip! Would have liked to see some instructions for the gas fireplace use. Other cabins we have stayed in often had a remote start mounted nearby. Had no idea what to do w/this one. Might like to try this one again in good weather.

Lake House with hot tub view

Location was gorgeous as were the fall colors. Kayaking on the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. The home could use a little deep cleaning. Communication with the property management team was great! Any issues we had were immediately addressed. Thank you for having us!!

Good fishing

The fishing was good. The hot tub was dirty so only was in it once. Was really looking forward to being in it a lot. Parts missing. Hot tub & fishing is my main reason for vacation.

Relaxing stay

Very peaceful location! We enjoyed fishing from the dock, paddling in the kayaks and the large fire pit. The kitchen had ample cooking supplies (in good condition) but could use more silverware (forks/knives). The hot tub had a strong odor of bleach so we barely used. The office was very responsive to our request. Overall a good experience. Thank You!

Cute house cute mouse

Place was cute and clean. Says "lakeview" truth it's a sneak peek covered by trees obscuring the view. Awesome hot tub, pretty patio. It was all good until I was laying on the couch and felt movement on me. I jumped up, a mouse jumped off the couch and scurried away. I did leave text, and owner offered to bring mouse traps. I told her just to have cleaning person bring at checkout. The fireplace didn't turn on after following directions. We ended up leaving a full day early, because a restful night of sleep never came after the mouse incident.We realize this can happen in the woods, but there is a big gap under the door entrance, and one by the hot tub. The owner was apologetic, but when we texted her to let her know we left early, I personally would have offered a slight discount. She was nice enough, and said she hoped we liked our stay. Would be great place if mouse entrances fixed, we made sure to keep all doors closed,and leftthe place spotless.
