Dunes Summer Retreat • Easy Walk to Private Ocean Beach

Settle into this modern designer home tucked into a secluded dune setting. Located on the ocean side of Montauk Highway, the property borders a protected nature reserve and is an easy five-minute scenic walk to one of the most beautiful ocean beaches on the East Coast.

Enjoy a rare blend of natural surroundings and modern comfort in this exceptionally maintained home. Oversized windows throughout connect each room to the outdoors, filling the space with natural light.

The main floor features an open living and dining area with double-height ceilings, three bedrooms, an additional sitting/yoga room (all with deck access), and two full bathrooms. Amenities include an indoor/outdoor sound system, four TVs, high-speed internet, and a fireplace for cooler evenings.

The second-floor primary suite offers balconies on three sides, a bridge overlooking the main living area, an ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi tub, shower, and double vanities, plus a dedicated workspace with its own fireplace and TV.

Outside, the wraparound deck includes a heated saltwater pool, screened porch, and hot tub room. Relax under the pergola, enjoy music on outdoor speakers, play ping pong, or grill on the chef-grade barbecue. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower under the open sky.

A two-car garage is located next to the house.
A crib, highchair, and pool fence are available for guests with young children.

Conveniently located between Amagansett Village (2 miles) and Montauk (8 miles), with easy access to local shops, dining, hiking trails, and more.

Amazing dunes retreat

We had the absolute best stay at Matt's place. The house is gorgeous and just as described and pictured. It's hard to share all that we liked but here are some highlights: - the pool and deck are lovely and super spacious - the grill is unreal! Not only is it a showpiece but we had delicious bbq dinner - the proximity to the beach was so special...we could do a quick boogie board with the kids, a run, a bonfire ...within an 8 min walk - the windows looking out on the dunes landscaping are wonderful. It was so peaceful to wake up to that view - the house is clean, spacious and kitchen is well stocked Matt was a super kind and responsive host! Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Great space, location, and access to a beautiful beach

We did not want to leave! The house has so many great spots to hang out inside and outside. We loved the 5 min walk to private access beach and the pool was well kept. Lots of appliances, towels, beach accessories that made the stay that much easier.

Comfortable home just steps from the beach

Our family had a wonderful month-long stay at Matt's house this summer and really enjoyed it. The house itself was very comfortable and worked well for hosting our friends in spacious bedrooms. The house has a big deck outside with a great grill and large area for lounging or dining outside near the pool. The location just a 5 minute walk from a private beach was what initially drew us to the property and it did not disappoint--it was truly special to be able to walk to the beach multiple times a day without getting in a car or securing a parking space/permit. There were never more than a few other people at the beach, making it serene and pristine.

Nice Home in Good Location

We loved the house as it was very spacious and the pool was wonderful. The short walk to the beach was really nice. The proximity to East Hampton, Montauk and Amagansett was perfect for shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. The only drawback was the mosquitoes and ticks this time of year. They were everywhere. Also important to note is the house is close to Montauk highway so there is traffic noise.

great vacation house

great deck and pool (which we couldn't use in the winter). house is unique, quiet, and just really cool. ping pong table (outdoors) is a nice perk. 5 minute walk to huge beach where you can walk for miles, and only a short drive to nice hiking options. the owner made us feel welcome and was easy to get in touch with if we needed to (we didn't).

Wonderful getaway walking distance from the beach

We had a fantastic time at Matt's place. The location is perfect, 5 minutes away from the beach on foot. The house is extremely neat and clean and well organized. The kitchen was stocked with fresh bread, eggs, milk, juice... and there was a gift for our kids on the dining table when we checked in. Matt is super responsive and no questions were left unanswered. The deck is super nice and comfortable, with retractable awnings that provide the shade you want during the day, a large dining table, a nice outdoor living area under a pergola... and a pool! Can't wait to go back.

A great get away!

Everything about the property was fantastic, very tough to leave. Perfect combination of a vacation house with a great deck and pool, combined with easy access to a very private beach. Can't wait to return!

Amagansett Oasis

Place is absolutely wonderful...pool, beach, location...and Matt was a super gracious host. House is nestled away in the un-Hamptons, Hamptons of Amagansett...all that Montauk and East Hampton have to offer are a quick drive East or West....but you'll find yourself wondering why you'd ever want to leave this awesome home!
