"Pros: Como começar...a herdade está localizada num local muito pacato e convidativo aos amantes da natureza e aos que apreciam a simples contemplação do ambiente e das montanhas. Tranquilo, bucólico (não fosse Alentejo!) e uma bela mistura entre o moderno/rústico. Os anfitriões são de uma simpatia sem palavras. "Wow what an amazing place ! The whole complex is fabulous ! The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly ! The chalets and villas are all fantastic with everything you would need . Sea views ! Walks straight from our villa onto the cliff top to join the Fisherman’s Trail. Free use of bikes and padel court . Fab swimming pool! We will definitely be back . Thank you 😎"

"This is a hidden gem. Booked last minute and were absolutely blown away by what we found. It rained the day we were there so we cozied up in one of there beautifully appointed nooks and read. The breakfast was incredible and included Definitely would come back. The staff and grounds were so welcoming "

"Overall this was a lovely place to stay but I feel obliged to point out some aspects which were lacking. The sound of our neighbours using the bathroom (toilet) were rather unwelcome, especially during the night. The Nespresso machine should have been a bonus bout an initial run through revealed it was desperately in need of a clean. Off the very few available sockets for charging my phone, the one adjacent to the bed was literally falling out of the wall very dangerously. The only other usable one being in the bathroom! Having a solar powered balcony light sounds like a great idea but it really would have benefited from an off switch bc of unwanted light all night from outside. Also the air dripped onto the balcony and a hanger was broken. Apart from this, the hostess was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfortable, and the lighting was good. Also, a decent shower and blackout curtain. "

"We stayed here for 2 nights and it was alright for what we needed it for. Nothing special. We didn’t realize just how in the middle of nowhere it would be. It’s quite remote and the country roads to get there are a bit tricky to navigate at night. We were exploring comporta for the two days that we were there but it’s about a 40 min drive so if you’re thinking of exploring comporta just keep that in mind. Also, there are no doors in the bathroom which we did not enjoy. Lastly, the room itself had some things that needed fixing. For example, the bottom of the door was completely falling off and the floor which is made up of some type of cork looked like it needed a refresh - it was stained on multiple areas. The breakfast included was also just ok - the eggs were cold and so was the bacon. We got to breakfast at 10 AM so I guess if you’re an early riser it might’ve been warm but they could also invest in better equipment to keep the food warm for the rest of us that are jet lagged and not up at the crack of dawn. Overall, it was just an ok experience. "
