Bed and Breakfast in Alton

"Nice hotel, spacious and comfortable room. I do think they need to get the maintenance guys in though, one of the lifts didn't work and the other was hit and miss. Also I noticed one of the toilets was out of action. Had a problem in the restaurant too. I ended up ordering food twice and getting charged for it twice due to an online ordering error. The staff were however very helpful and made sure the duplicate order was cancelled and the charge credited. The staff were really helpful and pleasant and the food was OK. Breakfast had the usual choice of items but was pleasant."

"Room and spa facilities were excellent. Food in the restaurant was very good although the service left a lot to be desired. Bar staff didn’t know what brandy was when asked. All other staff competent and very helpful."

"Welcoming, fun and funky lobby area. Great location. Highly recommend it. They are undergoing some exterior restoration but we really did not get impacted by it. The staff are great! Welcoming and friendly. "

"Arrived early in the morning after a international flight..naturally our room was not ready because checkin is at 3...we sat for two hours and noticed other people were checking in w/o a problem so I asked if our room was unavailable because we only had a cozy double..a lady finally said let me check..she was kind and even upgraded our room to more of a kitchenette...very comfortable..everyone was so nice"
