Stade, is a city in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. First mentioned in records in 934, it is the seat of the district Landkreis which bears its name. It is located roughly 45km to the west of Hamburg and belongs to that city's wider metropolitan region. Within the area of the city are the urban districts of Bützfleth, Hagen, Haddorf and Wiepenkathen, each of which have a council "Ortsrat" of their own with some autonomous decision-making rights. Stade is located in the lower regions of the river Elbe. It is also on the German Timber-Frame Road.

Great location in Stade
Great location but room dark and dreary at rear of hotel. The plus was, those at the front of the hotel had to endure the late night party goers.

Jederzeit wieder! Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Garten ist ein kleines Paradies, in dem man seine Seele baumeln lassen kann. Sehr gut, dass Fahrräder kostenlos bereitgestellt werden.

Owner welcomed us warmly when we arrived. They showed us the apartment and gave a quick rundown. All you need is there, coffee maker kettle toaster and so on
