"It was clean and in good repair. One thing that really torques me is bad condition. Like anchors coming out of the wall holding a towel rack, or wallpaper curling up. Loose toilet seats. Loose handles and such in general that just takes 5 minutes to turn an allen set screw. Holiday Inn Express rooms are consistently in good repair. All of those things I’ve listed I’ve seen at other hotels. "

"House was pretty, secluded, spacious. Bathroom setup was strange, like it wasn't thought out at all. Dim lighting in kitchen, many light switches didn't seem to work. Would've been a great place to stay except for the cockroach infestation in the kitchen. At first, i thought there were only a few, but i sprayed the cabinets down with the can of roach spray i found and when i came back there were dead roaches all over the floor. No way i was sleeping in that house at that point. Owner wanted to 'try' to get pest control to come in a few days which is unacceptable. They had to have known a nest that large was living in there."

"This is 3 rd time staying at this hotel in 6 months and the ice machine is still broken. The only ice machine available is on the 2nd floor. However we are senior citizens and we would have to climb stairs since the hotel does not have an elevator. I think at this point it is time to buy a new ice maker since the hotel is usually at full occupancy when we stay there."
