"Nicely located near town centre but on quiet side of centre so peaceful with a sub 10 minute walk to station or station square where the trains to Andermatt leave and the Glacier express. The town shows it has a long relationship with English visitors."

"We chose Hotel Victoria for the price and location. Switzerland is expensive to travel in. Meals were extremely expensive! This place had an included breakfast. The breakfast was terrific! Meat and cheese and breads and croissants and hard boiled eggs and mixed fruit and cereal and maybe oatmeal and yogurt. So something for everyone. The pillows weren't great. But that isn't uncommon. The beds were quite comfortable. The staff was very helpful. And the town was just lovely. We went for a walk through it all and a ways up the mountain and it was absolutely stunning! Lots to see and a lovely glimpse of Switzerland. Be prepared for high food prices. Otherwise we would stay here again. We have been backpacking through Italy and France and wanted a place near the train to stow our packs before discovering this town. And this didn't disappoint!"
