"We stayed in this this lovely, bright apartment for one week in March. We had everything we needed, and the hamper of goodies left by Helen & Steve was much appreciated as we arrived on a Sunday when all the shops were closed. For a one bed apartment it is very spacious, with plenty of storage space. There is a file full of information on places to visit and local cafes/ bars etc. which are all within easy walking distance and a large, well stocked supermarket just a couple of minutes drive...

"Excellent stay! We had an early flight and the host let us check in 4 hours early and was very quick in responding to messages. The apartment was huge! Very clean and spacious and considering the heat it was very cool even after being out all day without the air on being on. Lovely touch leaving ice cubes in the Freezer well. "Rooms were immaculately cleaned and all the staff were extremely helpful. Good location and much better being away from central Benalmadina. Roof top jacuzzis and beds were perfect and much better environment than the caged pool areas which didn’t look great. Perfect for the beach and all views stunning"

"The accommodation was very clean as was the whole site. Beds comfortable 😀 The food in restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The pool was lovely, not too cold (we stayed the few days of October) the kids loved the slide and it provided them entertainment for ages. The kids club was great and staff do a lot of activities with the kids. Very enjoyable for them. We will absolutely be back. The only slight negatives was that when making the booking with hotels.com it stated as part of a deal that there were 2 passes for each adult for the spa but on arrival the hotel confirmed this was not included. If it shows as included i would double check this with the property directly first prior to booking so you don’t miss out. The property is also right by the motorway so there is road noise but it didn’t really bother us. We stayed 2 nights but would have been so happy coming for longer. Next time!"

Hotel ILUNION Hacienda de Mijas

"Great view from the property. We liked the place overall. They have onsite parking for a fee or you can park on the street which is not busy since this hotel has a rural location. The only annoying thing we found was that the pool "closes" at a certain time (7 pm comes to mind) and they literally put up a fince around it to keep everyone out. In the morning the pool is not available until almost noon. The town of Mijas seems like a total tourist trap but has some decent food if you can find the place! The town is built into a hill and the streets are steep and winding. Free parking is limited but there is a garage if all else fails."

"We stayed here when we arrived in Malaga in the evening. The location was convenient to the airport with our rental car. The location was not good if we had been planning on spending time in Malaga. There was nothing to do in the neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautiful."
