"A lovely quaint hotel in great location on the seafront with good proximity to bars and restaurants and an impressive viewing area! A lot of restaurants closed for the Easter celebrations! Rooms newly refurbished, comfortable and clean! Staff really helpful and friendly especially the guy on reception! Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but ate in the restaurant for dinner with plenty choice for all budgets! Worth paying the extra for a Seaview room with balcony, especially when able to watch the Easter parades which went on for hours! Would definitely stay again! The resort is really Spanish and has a lovely atmosphere! Found the resort expensive compared to the likes of Mojacar and Roquetas! "

"Wow! I’ve been traveling across the coasts of Portugal and Spain for the past two months, but I didn’t want to leave this place in the Costa Tropical. The apartment feels like a real home, not a cookie-cutter rental. It’s modern and clean and you can tell that Cristina took care in furnishing it with nice fixtures, artwork and personal touches. The duplex is in a beautiful residential area where the units cascade down the hillside. The landscaping is incredible - you feel like you’re living in a garden. The view to the sea, rooftops below and towns down the coastline is gorgeous. You do have to access steep steps to go to and from the apartment and a car is a necessity (you’re within an hour’s drive to great locations like Granada, Malaga, Sierra Nevada mountains, etc.). The village of La Herradura is quaint and relatively quiet compared to the tourist towns in the Costa del Sol. And people here are much nicer! This is my new favorite vacation spot and I will definitely be staying at Cristina’s lovely casa again."

"This is without doubt, the place to go for beautiful scenery with the Med to your left, the Mountains to your right and a backdrop of the city seen from the magnificent pool. Waking up to this is a great start, middle and end of the day. Well maintained kitchenware and amenities. Transport is a must but the extra effort is very well rewarded."
