"Beautiful property overlooking the sea - well equipped and modern inside with tasteful decor. Wonderful communal pool which was deserted most of the time. Set in lovely landscaped gardens. Have given 4 stars only because it is quite a walk into La Herradura down steep hills - about 20 mins - 30 mins. Because it was so hot and humid (34 degrees and 80% humidity) we didn't attempt it and drove - would have been nice to be able to walk into town to get food but then you would sacrifice the location and views. Great communication with owner also."

"Small room without kettle, too many people in the pool area. No nearest shops no restaurant to by food, just hotdog, hamburger and pizza poor quality. Problem with parking when we arrived."

"Absolutely fabulous we loved everything about this small very friendly hotel, owner Antonio is so helpful and wants your stay to be perfect, as with all the staff, it’s a short walk to the beach and into the centre where there’s lots of bars, restaurants , shops it’s not crowded and full of tourists it’s very much localised vibe, we loved it, "

"We have just come back from an amazing two week holiday at this beautiful villa. On arrival the owner and his son met us with the keys, gave us a tour and showed us how everything worked and left us with a food starter kit which was a lovely added touch. Everything you need for a great holiday is available with lots of extras including a coffee machine, hot tub, pool table and ping pong table. The infinity pool is fabulous (just take care if you have young children as there is quite a drop). The views from the villa are stunning and the local beach is accessible by foot but is quite a walk uphill on the way back but there is plenty of free parking if you have a car. Shops and supermarkets are a ten minute drive away and we would recommend having a car as taxis are difficult to book and we all got stranded one evening in Almuñécar for over an hour to get home after dinner. Any queries we had with the owner were immediately replied to on WhatsApp and the maintenance man who came out didn’t speak any English but was not a problem as we communicated using Google translate and he was very helpful and friendly. We were a family of eight adults and we had the best time, would highly recommend this villa and we’ve already rebooked for 2025."

"The views and surroundings are nice.Unsafe as we found they had an emergency exit closed with a chain and lock on it and after days complaining they finally took the chain off..In general there was no feedback when putting in complaints about door staying open ,noise of music voices etc coming from kitchen extractor,room not cleaned one day,no hot water first day,toilet cistern etc etc"

"An absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel with amazing views! The hotel has many different amenities from renting bikes, renting chairs and umbrellas for the beach, breakfast, and more. The hotel has a restaurant right below it that I also highly recommend! "
