ELBA HOTEL EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR ALMERIA
Elba Hotel resulted for us an excellent choice. Nice and ample room with all you can need, besides wonderful service and customer attention. Free parking in the same hotel was very valuable too.

Although the hotel claimed to be smoke free, we were greeted when we arrived with smokers outside the main entrance. I guess that is where the smoking area is. In fact they had a cigarette vending machine right inside the front door. Not very inviting for non smokers. The worst part was our room smelled of tobacco smoke and it got worse as the night rent on. So much so that I had to leave the room at 4AM and go for a walk and stayed in the lobby for the rest of the night. I think the smell was coming from their ventilation system as it got worse if so turned the heat or A/C on. If you are going to list your property as smoke free, then make sure it actually is.

Hotel 4 estrellas con servicio de 5 Estrellas!!!
Este es un hotel cinco estrellas, la atencion, el servicio, el desayuno, la limpieza, en fin todo!!! Es estupendo. Nos atendio una chica llamada Julia junto con su equipo fueron maravillosos, amables y generosos con la informacion prestada asi como con su atencion. El Chef Ricardo nos dio un desayuno digno de recordar. La persona que nos arreglo el cuarto fue muy cuidadosa y ordenada. En fin una experiencia de 5 estrellas!!!!! Superhipermega recomendadisimo!!!!

Excellent all round accommodation, with clean and spacious rooms and communal areas. Very friendly and obliging staff and very well situated near shops bars and restaurants. I noticed a high level of Covid prevention measures.

Excellent hotel.
Everything was excellent, especially the staff (specifically the attractive girl that works in the restaurant everyday) and the service. Would stay again.

Good hotel, but there are few improvements that should be made in order to fulfil title of "Business & Convention" Hotel: - Breakfast should be starting at 6 (for early departures) or option to have "take away" - Some staff should be trained to speak better english - There should be kettle and coffee choice in the room

Great hotel, tricky address
This was a lovely hotel, however we had trouble finding it as they don’t have a street number, & our GPS wasn’t accepting the address we put in. In the end we put in an address for a nearby street.

Great place. It is located close to two malls. 7-minute drive from the beach. Bedrooms are large and very clean. The hotel is modern, updated, and clean. Staff is simply the best, particularly the beautiful girls at the reception (Neiva and Cristina). They will do everything for you. The breakfast has different options, great quality. This hotel has been the best among the different hotels in which I have been through my different trips in Spain over several years. Thanks! Hope I can return soon. Maravilloso hotel en una hermosa zona de Almería. Está entre dos centros comerciales. Ubicado a una distancia corta del mar en auto. Las habitaciones son grandes y modernas. El hotel es amplio y muy bien equipado. El personal es muy amable y entregado a su labor, en particular las hermosas chicas de la recepción (Neiva y Cristina). El desayuno buffet tiene mucha variedad. Este hotel, sin duda, ha sido el mejor en el que me he quedado en España entre todos mis diferentes viajes a través de los años. Gracias!!! Ojalá pueda volver.

Excellent hotel with well trained staff.
Approx 30 mins walk from old town & beach, but bus stop or taxi rank close by if you don't fancy the walk up the steep hill back. I found staff very accomodating. Food excellent.

Clean and spacious hotel in Almeria
This hotel is away from the tourist areas of Almeria and there are not a lot of restaurants in the area – and perhaps that’s the only negative. The hotel itself is an excellent value. Large rooms, clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a large mall across the street for shopping. There is also a fast food court there.

Extremely nice hotel!
This hotel was perfect! We stayed in Europe for 10 days, and stayed at a different hotel every night. This one was by far the best and nicest. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and awesome modern decor... I loved this hotel and would highly recommend it! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Disappointed in Almeria
This was a disappointing trip. We were advised we were only 2km from town but in fact we were nearer 4 or 5 km. The hotel was on a hill so walking back was no fun. On the second night I tried to get room service and had the telephone put down on me. I rang back and was told "no one in the Hotel speaks English".(At this point I had not even tried to order). We asked for a Manager and was told there was no Manager on duty at the weekend. The next day we did get to speak to a senior member of staff about another matter and took the opportunity to tell them about the night before. They apologised and informed us many of the staff speak English. (this later proved not to be the case but two members of staff Emilio and Sergy were very helpful and very friendly and did make the rest of our stay pleasant. We were also treated to a free dinner the following Sunday. This is a Business hotel and as such really only caters for Monday to Friday. (You fly solo at the weekends). Whilst the room was visited by housekeeping every day the floor remained with fluff and dust throughout the 10 days. Not the cleanest room I have stayed in but not the dirtiest either.I think it is fair to say we were disappointed for a 5 star Business Hotel.

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel but one with modest amenities. This one is a little further from the old district of Almeria, but we had a car so that was ok. The breakfast provided options and was fresh. All the rooms are non-smoking but our room reeked of smoke and so we changed rooms to one with a very weak air-conditioner!

very poor service
When I stayed there was a football team also in the hotel so other guests were completely ignored, no service at bar, room service was cold and everytime I ordered I would receive a further phone call from reception checking I could afford to pay, this was highly insulting and when I checked out I couldn't even leave the car park as again staff were not paying attention, would never stay again and in future I suggest they treat every guest with a great service rather than just favouring some.

Poor wifi
Wifi was very slow, in fact virtually useless. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful. Parking at 10Euros typical expensive price and in a rather dark lower level (women would not feel very safe there?).
