"This was a charming cottage house close to town and only 15 minutes from the beach, maybe less. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, including pillows - thank you! The house is super charming and the gardens were really lovely. There is an old theater two blocks away with delicious popcorn and great classic movies. I walked the waterfront boardwalk daily and stopped in a number of the shops in town and drove to the beach daily, which was a beautiful drive over the bridge. Roanoke Island is wonderful - highly recommend !"

"Pet friendly. Cute cottage…. Clean, great location. Easy check in. Property was a little “older” than anticipated and fitting four people in it is quite a stretch. . Note that there is no dishwasher, no laundry facilities, no tv in any bedroom, TINY kitchen. The groundskeeper, Lloyd, was fantastic and just lovely. I would absolutely VRBO at this location again."

"We were able to check in a little early. House was wonderful. Pool out back was amazing. Close to the beach, restaurants and other things to do. If/when I make my way back to Manteo. I will definitely be looking to stay here."

"The house was a great fit for our trip traveling with my teenagers and my parents. One bathroom had a handicap toilet making it higher, which was perfect for my parents. It was adequately furnished for light cooking and had plenty of room for us to not only sleep but hang out. It was clean, well kept and stocked with necessary items like hand soap, dishwasher and washer pods. The owner communicated well and check out was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again."
