"This mountain house was positively delightful. While it was in a pretty remote location, the views were breathtaking. It's located in a quaint tiny village on the Cares trail -- definitely bring provisions with you as the kitchen is perfect for cooking meals (and the food is so good in this area it's hard to make a bad meal). "Pros: Estuvimos en la casa rural Grau el fin de semana pasado (noviembre 2021), y no hemos podido estar más a gusto. Fuimos 6 personas y en ella encontramos todo lo necesario, tiene calefación, chimenea, wifi, lavaplatos, lavadora, barbacoa, y todo el ajuar necesario en la cocina y en el salón. Además cuenta con un jardín con un horreo para disfrutar del buen tiempo. "This is an excellent property in the Picos de Europa park. The best reason to book this hotel are the hot springs. You get one 40 minute session per night which is very relaxing after a day of hiking. These are natural hot springs flowing from the outside, with many different water massage areas, as well as a sauna, steam room, onsen, whirlpool and cold rinsing pool. They also have along outdoor pool if you want to swim. The second reason is the location. You are between Fuente De and Poncebos. There is no better location to reach each of these in 1 hour, plus Potes, Sotres and Bulnes. Covadonga lakes are another 30 min, but beware private cars cannot go to Covadonga. You need to leave your car at a parking lot and they have taxis to take you the rest of the way. Besides location and hot springs, the hotel is very good, comfortable bed, excellent staff and great breakfast. They don’t have a coffee/tea kettle in the room. You need to buy that at the bar, but the waiter brought it all the way to my room. I would only say that they need to completely renovate the bathrooms, they are very old"

"Over all very nice spot. Room was nice and beds were very comfortable! The room was hot with no way to shut off the heater or cool it down. Also you need a code to get your key out of a box in front of the building. Not sure if we missed a message or what, but we never received a code. Thankfully there were other guests who let us use their code to retrieve our key otherwise I’m not sure if we would have gotten in that night. "
