"Cape Girardeau is about the halfway point for us (Wisconsin) and friends from Mississippi. This VRBO is ideally located within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Property is very clean, has the basics and communication with the owner was super easy. The saloon-style doors for the downstairs bathroom were a little unexpected, but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would recommended this property for a long weekend."

"First, the owner and their communication was fantastic. The space was exactly as described, comfortable and clean. The proximity to everything from the river, to downtown and even to the great restaurants on upper Broadway is walkable and great. The “but” is that we stayed Friday and Saturday and it is located right on Broadway (popular cruising street) next to a popular bar that itself is loud and fills the parking area out back with partying till near 2 am. Truly, otherwise, a great stay."

"The remote peacefulness of this location was amazing. Rustic isn't a valued word anymore. Wildly fun to sit on the patio of the cabin and just listen to nature and the rainfall, my gosh! We walked trails, played rounds of games in the gaming cabin. Swam and jumped off that pontoon a dozen or so times. The paddle boards were great too! We totally plan to go back and have already been making plans to see the Happy Farm family again!"

"The stay was nice. Showers were powerful and all towels were clean. It could use more of an upgrade, but management seems to be committed to doing just that. Would use them again for sure. Its not the four seasons, but again for the price it was more than adequate. Metal base for bed. Bed was comfortable but base squeaked when you turn while sleeping."
