"We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. "We were traveling down to the south of Spain so this was a two night stop over on New Years Eve and New Years day. We were told there was no food available on arrival so we went to a local Patisserie and got a mixture to eat. On New Years day we asked could we buy some bread and cheese or anything but we were told no and no advice where to get anything. So we had nothing to eat for 24 hours. one staff member on arrival was very nice but other than that it was terrible."

Walking distance from the train station - less tha. 5 minute flat walk. Friendly staff, clean room with large comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Excellent breakfast available which we had both mornings. Only downside is there was no kettle in the room to be able to make a hot drink."

Wonderful stay
"We loved this hotel, authentic with a rock/pop twist. We stayed in the Beatles room, which is up the spiral staircase and for 4 people. The main room has a huge king size bed with separate doors through to the 2 single beds. All staff we met were lovely and friendly. Lovely courtyard area for relaxing/ eating. Walking distance to all the sites and shops. We would definitely return. "
