Independent in Alimia

"This was easily the best hotel we stayed in during our trip around the island. The apartment was spotless, well appointed and in an excellent location for the wineries and local restaurants. The breakfast was epic and the staff were extremely polite and friendly, especially the super sweet Nectaria. Don't hesitate to book. "

"Only staff was meeting us at the ferry and walking us to the property. Don't think i would do a loft again, didn't like banging my head and too many ants inside."

"Villa was not thoroughly cleaned. We were told that the cleaning crew would be there from 10-4 but found bugs on the counter when we got there at 4. Maintenance and care is not being done. Outdoor landscaping not maintained. Pool has issues from previous tenants. Beds were horrible. We woke every morning with soreness. The listing stated bbq and coffee maker but it has a small French press and the bbq was not accessible. We asked for a coffee maker and communication just stopped. No soap, paper towel, trash bags. "

"Not sure how this sells and charges as a 5-star hotel as there is nothing of that level on site. The rooms are tatty, furniture is old. The shower flooded half the bathroom area everytime is used, beds are uncomfortable. Try to plug in a charger on the balcony a d the plug came flying out. The restaurant food is very basic, no service of any sort."

"Stunning property but you need a car"

"Amazing property with everything anyone could need for a comfortable and fun stay. A vehicle is essential but the villa is so nice, you won’t feel like going out anyway. Just enough host visits to make sure we were happy without be obtrusive. Would highly, highly recommend and would live to return"
