The property was great. Rooms were very comfortable. The gym and pool first rate. The negative is the food. Especially the so called Thai restaurant. The food was expensive and quite frankly awful! Lots of effort making it fancy no effort making it taste like Thai food or even good fusion food. We also ate in the Pub. The place is soulless and the food bland and disappointing. The breakfasts were first rate however. Felt ripped off by the food - otherwise satisfied by the facilities. Cheers .

We booked it last minute but wasnt disappointed. Nice spacious room, comfy bed and a superb breakfast. Pool is well thought out (kid friendly), 15 min drive to the city centre or to a nice beach. Happy to book again!

Good hotel and Stay
Good hotel standard and typical marriott. Rooms really comfortable and spacious. Food was good but breakfast self service was a little hectic and closed strictly at 11:00 so beware! Location is way out of any town but we knew this so you’d need a car / taxi rides to get out and about Pool area and pool was great Bar service could be a bit slow but hey when on holiday that’s fine Main restaurants in hotel V pricey On site golf course and we tried the practice range which was well run etc. but do this before midday sun as there is no shade !

Great staff at breakfast and restaurants/bar. Unfortunately limited vegetarian food on offer in main evening restaurant and unwillingness to adapt food when asked in advance. Mistakes made by reception with taxi bookings. Rooms lovely and clean, breakfast and pool area were fabulous.

Stayed two nights. Had the usual inconsistent approach from Marriott to my Platinum benefits, but otherwise great check in with a room upgrade that gave us a balcony with the afternoon sun. Very well appointed hotel. Great breakfast. Fantastically helpful staff.It is a touch out of the way, but fantastic for golfers and cyclists

Very welcoming staff. Very friendly all around and above all the food in their restaurant is incredible. We went here for a romantic stay and they certainly delivered. We most commenly travel for business so we know what to appreciate. This place is a rare find. If you on top of that appreciate golf this could be your secret escape

Recommend it strongly!
Probably my best stay via hotels.com. 5 stars to all aspects. The place is amazing and I'm not a golfer! The only improvement could be in the restaurant. A la carte menu would fit the concept better but I understand the large golf groups would be a problem. Anyway I recommend it strongly!

We had a very warm welcome and our room was large,comfortable,and a balcony with great views of the hills. We also had a wonderful meal at the Thai restaurant. The facilities are super.

Hotel was lovely and nothing was too much for any of the staff. Breakfast was fantastic. So much to choose from catering for all food needs. Housekeeping was excellent. But rather disturbingly, we did find a cockroach in our room. While we did point this out to reception staff, we did not get any feedback until the following day when we followed it up. One of the managers was very concerned we had not received any feedback. We were given a handwritten letter of apology, some chocolates and a voucher for 2 drinks.

Very relaxed atmosphere, public areas nice. Room very nice large and comfortable bed. The Thai restaurant was lovely and a pleasant surprise. Breakfast service was very busy at the time we arrived, but still managed to cope. We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.

I have stayed at this property many times - it has recently had a re-model and has been re-decorated - and has a fresh modern fee. The rooms are spacious and there is plenty of parking

Rooms were spacious and well decorated. It was early in the season and there seemed to be a shortage of staff at times e.g. used breakfast tables were not cleared promptly. The staff who were available were really helpful and pleasant.
