"It was the second time we rented the villa – and we hope to return. Everything in the villa is in perfect condition. The heated pool is perfect in January! Some distance to Mijas/beach, but we didn’t bother to rent a car since Uber/Bolt is so easy to use."

"We stayed at Villa Romo for 10 days. The perfect place to get away and appreciate a slower pace and Spanish way of life. Carl & Maria were attentive throughout. Only snag was getting to the house on day one, as we were driving from Toledo. Managed to find the house before dark; a plus! The home is quite remote and it took us about 30 minutes to get there from the small town of Rio Gordo. (My advice is to buy groceries before you arrive.) We felt like the property hadn’t been totally prepared for us as no gas bottle for bbq, no pool towels, no logs for burner and no waste bags. We had to chase for instructions on how to get there. "Our stay was fantastic. From the friendly welcome when we arrived, to the moment we left - we really felt at home. Small added touches like cling film and extra suncream, rubber ring and pool noodles were really appreciated! The villa is well equipped, comfortable and private. "Just spent 10 days at this villa and had a great time. We couldn’t have asked for more with everything we needed being there. The little touches including the basics you need without having to shop on arrival (including a massive bag of fresh oranges) were gratefully received. "Stayed 3 nights for a 50th birthday. Mixed ages from 18 to 72 years. We had the most amazing time making memories. Sten was a brilliant host, villa had everything you could possibly need and more. Top tip, take a photo of the outside name of the villa for taxis as some confusion over the correct address. Also larger party get separate snalled buses as we did have to walk up hill with cases. Thank Sten for an unbelievable villa and memories i will treasure forever"
