The staff were really friendly and helpful We always had a chat - not sure if that’s because we were the only Brits in Algiers and so might have been novelty value - but nevertheless they were brilliant. The location is excellent - right by the metro station However - be aware it is opposite a beautiful mosque - and so you will get the early call to prayers - and it is loud. ALSO - very positive - a taxi driver who does some work for them and lives virtually next door “Youcef Sabour” +213770343377 he’s very reasonably priced. $10 from the airport - and also will change euros for dinar at a much better rate than the banks.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour au Marhaba Casbah. L’hôtel est neuf, très propre et les rénovations ont été réalisées avec goût. Son emplacement est un vrai coup de cœur : juste en face de la magnifique Mosquée Ketchaoua et en plein cœur de la Casbah. C’est un plaisir de pouvoir sortir et se retrouver immédiatement plongé dans l’histoire d’Alger. Le personnel a également été très accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. Une très belle adresse que je recommande sans hésiter.
