La Yedra Algarrobo by Ruralidays

Holiday home situated in Algarrobo, in the province of Malaga, Andalusia.

This modern villa situated on a hillside next to the village of Algarrobo will provide you with the most relaxing holiday you have ever enjoyed. The colourful bedrooms will have you falling into bed in a matter of seconds. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and a single bed, while the second bedroom has two single beds. The third bedroom has two single beds and a double bed. The two rustic style bathrooms feature one walk-in shower each. The cosy living/dining room is filled with a warm atmosphere, provided by the colours chosen for the decoration of the room; this area shares space with the fully equipped kitchenette, which was recently renovated. In addition, the large windows, through which you can access the outdoor area, add a lot of light to the whole room.

The heating of the house is provided by electric radiators.

The outdoor area is the icing on the cake of this accommodation. A cosy chill-out area is situated on the porch, overlooking the huge private swimming pool and the village of Algarrobo, as well as the Mediterranean Sea. The larger side of the villa is completely occupied by a covered terrace, allowing you to enjoy breakfast (or any other meal) while taking in the views. A barbecue completes the outdoor furniture of the villa.

Access to the house is possible through a concreted lane.

The kids loved the big pool which had already 28 degrees in May. We really enjoyed the big and proper equipped guest house with barbecue area and the nice view at the landscape and ocean. But at least for the season we visited this region we recommend to have Mosquito spray available.

Tolles Haus mit allen notwendigen Ausstattungen. Lage und Ausblick sind perfekt und einzigartig. Der Pool ist groß und sauber. Der Clou sind die vielen verschiedenen Sitzgelegenheiten rund ums Haus, so dass man immer den besten Platz sich aussuchen kann. War alles perfekt und hat gut funktioniert. Rosa ist eine tolle und engagierte Gastgeberin, welche immer schnell per WhatsApp erreichbar war.

Ferienhaus am Berg, in Alleinlage, keine Einsicht auf das Grundstück, schöner Pool, alles mit traumhaftem Ausblick bis auf das Meer. Barrierefreies Haus mit viel Platz. Mehrere Sitzecken im Freien, für sonnige und schattige Plätzchen, genug Freiraum für alle. Küche funktionell ausgestattet, allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Zuallererst hat das Haus einen tollen Ausblick und einen wunderbaren Außenbereich. Rosa ist sehr, sehr freundlich, immer erreichbar, spricht aber leider kaum Englisch, so dass die Verständigung beim Check-In und vor allem beim Check-Out etwas holprig lief. Die Auffahrt zum Haus ist recht steil und abenteuerlich, aber völlig machbar und absolut kein Problem. Die Aussicht ist absolut atemberaubend. Die Ausstattung des Hauses und vor allem der Terrasse ist gut. Der Pool auch super. Das Mobiliar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte eine große Grundreinigung bzw. eine kleine Erneuerung vertragen. Wir waren 10 Tage zu zweit in dem Haus und hatten grundsätzlich eine sehr gute Zeit. Allerdings hat mein Mann ab dem zweiten Tag einen mückenstichähnlichen Ausschlag bekommen. Da ich diesen erstmal nicht hatte, sind wir von übermäßig vielen Mückenstichen ausgegangen und kauften ein Spray, was jedoch nichts gebracht hat. Nach ca. einer Woche habe auch ich immer mehr Ausschlag bekommen. Nach einiger Recherchen und einem Arztbesuch zurück in Deutschland wurde bestätigt, dass es sich um Bettwanzen-Bisse handelt. Beim Check-Out mit Rosa haben wir ihr das bereits mitgeteilt, jedoch konnten wir das Gespräch nicht weiter ausführen, da hier die Sprachbarriere im Weg war. Letzten Endes fühlten wir uns nicht ganz ernst genommen, hoffen aber, dass das Problem beseitigt wird und die Folgegäste das Problem nicht haben werden.

Wir hatten als Familie einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist sehr schön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt ihr an nichts. Die Aussicht ist unglaublich und der Pool auch. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Ohne Zweifel einer der besten Besitzer, die ich je getroffen habe! Der einzige negative Punkt ist, dass der Zugang zur Villa beim ersten Mal schwierig und beängstigend ist. Es gibt zwei Haupthänge und zwei 180-Grad-Kurven. Aber wir werden uns schnell daran gewöhnen!

Wir sind mit Auto und einem kleinen Motorradhänger angereist. Die steile Auffahrt war mit dem bepackten Auto und dem Hänger doch nicht so schwierig wie gedacht. Danach sind wir nur noch Motorrad gefahren. Dadurch kamen wir den Wandereinstiegen deutlich näher, was bei den langen Anlaufwegen an die Berge über Fahrpisten sehr hilfreich war. Die Terrasse hat Südseeflair mit Palme und balinesischem Bett am Pool. Abends flimmern die Lichter von Torre del Mar und Algarrobo, was sehr schön aussieht. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Wenn alle neun Betten wirklich belegt sind, wird es wohl etwas eng. Wir waren nur zu zweit. Draußen gibt es sehr viele Sitz- und Essgelegenheiten. Da es erst März war und die Nächte doch noch kalt, haben wir uns abends lieber drinnen aufgehalten. Das Wohnzimmer mit den Panoramafenstern und den gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten war sehr angenehm. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war unkompliziert.
