"Our group of friends spent Christmas at Tinui Homestead’s Poplar Cottage, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this gem and will cherish the memories we made here. Poplar Cottage was perfect for our group. It was exceptionally clean, warm, and quiet. Having four separate rooms with comfortable queen beds was a huge plus, giving everyone their own space. The kitchen is fully equipped, which made preparing our Christmas meals a breeze. The location is stunning and very handy to Castlepoint for day trips. One of the highlights was the walking track up to the ANZAC Cross - it’s a great bit of exercise through a forest with a rewarding view at the top. We also spent every evening in the spa pool; soaking under the vast, clear night sky was absolutely brilliant. What made the stay extra special were the two friendly resident dogs. They kept us company around the cottage and even joined us for our walks exploring the grounds and the trek up to the Cross. Gwendoline is an absolute star. She was so accommodating, helpful, and truly an all-round excellent host. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. If you are looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and welcoming getaway in a beautiful part of the country, I cannot recommend Tinui Homestead enough. We will definitely be back!"

"The cabin was clean and fitted the environment and atmosphere it was placed in amongst nature. We take a lot of things for granted but never understand or contemplate it till it’s gone. Te Paki was well worth the experience to recharge one’s mind, body and soul especially for work. Definitely worth getting away to recharge and reset from the city life and work"

"Wonderful place to stay in Castlepoint, short driving distance from the beach (could walk but it's a bit of a hill) with fabulous views over the water from the deck. Clean, tidy and comfortable with good kitchen facilities and lots of DVDs for the kids. We had a great time!"
