The host was quick to answer with any questions and the house was perfect for our triple couples trip! Each room has its own full bathroom which is a big plus!! And a quiet spot to hang out on all the patios/porches! We would love to come back!
This property and home are a little slice of heaven! The home is beautiful and well stocked with anything you need. We spent every morning on the screened in porch, enjoying the views and coffee. The owners were so lovely and helpful. We especially appreciated it being pet friendly so we were able to bring our dog and cat.
Excellent host and location. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. Host would reply to question in a couple of minutes. The cabin was clean and beautiful. Thank you so much.
Maggie and Ryan were wonderful hosts! We enjoyed our stay, hiking and exploring the surrounding woods. This house has everything you need and more! I felt right at home. You won’t be disappointed by this amazing home close to Asheville.
We loved our stay at Meg's and Ryan's cottage. They were attentive to all our questions. The property is very well appointed; the kitchen and bathrooms are supplied with all the equipment you need.
We especially enjoyed the screen porch as an additional room for relaxing.
We also appreciate that our cat was welcome.
We hope to visit again and will recommend this cottage to others.
This was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a location not far from N. Asheville, yet not in town, that could accommodate our extended family and a dog. This home was all we asked for and more! The hosts were beyond gracious and answered questions super fast. Property was immaculate and cozy. The absolute best feature is the back screened in porch/deck - listening to all the birds each morning and evening while spending time with family was priceless. There were so many features that we didn’t even get a chance to appreciate them all!
We were looking for a peaceful retreat during a tough time for our family. This cottage was perfect for us. It was exactly the right amount of space and thoughtfully appointed with MANY extras!! Our favorite place was the screened in porch- an easy spot for everyone to hang out. There were a few concerns upon arrival, but Maggie was STELLAR with communication and things were, for the most part, quickly fixed. They are building this into a beautiful retreat with several cottages. It’s going to be a great place for family reunions!
Our stay at this property was very nice. I wanted to celebrate Christmas with my son and family as he used all of his time during the hurricane and could not travel for the holidays. The house was decorated for Christmas which was greatly appreciated. The view of the woods and the sound of the stream was amazing. I would have lived in the screened-in area if it had been warm! All of the bedrooms are huge and have their own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook our Christmas meal. If I had a question, it was answered right away. They also donated the money to people who were impacted by the Hurricane. Thank you!The only concern is that the internet and phone signal is not strong enough to work remote. I usually use my phone hotspot but the signal was too weak along with the internet. I had to leave the property to attend meetings and open teams files. Also be cautious on the driveway. It is very bumpy and slightly steep. It was wet out and my brakes kept pumping as I was sliding a little. There are steep drop offs so be careful of small children who like to take off.Overall it was a lovely stay and I can't thank the hosts enough for making our Christmas brighter!
Pet friendly cottage located in the woods. Watched the sunrise to the hoots of great horned owls and coyote howls! The fire pit and fire table, along with the screened in porch, were where we spent our waking time. The mattresses were amazing! Loved this place, will return in the future.
The place was great and the location even better. Great communication with the host and could not have asked for a better spot to spend time with my family.
The House was very clean, the images on the listing are accurate. The host was very responsive. Our dog enjoyed her the dog area. I enjoyed drinking coffee on the back porch. It was a perfect get a way.
We’re always on the lookout for new places to stay when we visit Asheville, and this place was a fantastic discovery! The cottage is stunning, and the view is breathtaking. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches that set this property apart from others we’ve stayed at. Regrettably, we could only stay for one night on our way to Nashville, but we’re definitely planning to return for a longer stay next time.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house worked out perfectly for us and was clean and very well equipped. The layout provides privacy with plenty of space to gather as a group. Our hosts, Maggie and Ryan, were responsive to our questions. We partially chose to stay here because the hosts are giving back to the community which is still recovering from Hurricane Helene. It turned out to be a perfect place to gather with family. I would choose to stay here again.
We stayed at this beautiful, quiet property with two seven year olds, two middle-aged people and two elderly adults. The layout of the home was perfect to accommodate everyone's needs We all really enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic stay in the lovely scenery around Asheville. I’m a frequent traveler and I was surprised at how nice every little touch was in the home. The host obviously pays a great deal of attention to detail and they were extremely responsive. More than you could ever need for a great getaway. The screened porch was a huge plus. An easy drive to downtown Asheville.
What a wonderful house and hosts! This was one of our favorite houses and we've stayed in many over the years. Check-in was easy and Maggie and Ryan did so many things to make our stay extra special for my husband's birthday. They are so kind and communication was great. The kitchen was well appointed and the whole house was set up to make guests feel welcome and relaxed. All the bedrooms are spacious and have comfortable beds, lots of pillows and extra blankets. There is a huge TV in the family room and a very comfortable sofa that easily fit everyone. But, our favorite room was the screened in porch over looking the woods. We had coffee there each morning. We loved that we were 15 minutes from downtown Asheville, but we felt like we were a million miles away. I can't say enough good things about this house and how nice the hosts are. We will definitely come back and stay here again!
