"One of my favorite aspects of our stay was the proximity to sites within the old city walls and to the Roman Aqueduct. We were able to see almost all the old city in a day, and it’s impossible get lost! From the minute we checked in until the morning we left, we encountered very friendly staff who helped us maximize our enjoyment on our 2 day holiday in Evora. The proprietor arranged a one day trip with a private guide to Monsaraz which was super fun! He recommended a great restaurant (O Trovadore). Finally, we had a lovely room overlooking the courtyard with ample space to stretch out and relax with an espresso. The breakfast (pequeno almoco) offered numerous options like fresh fruit and homemade cake) and eggs cooked to order. What a lovely hotel and experience in this unesco town of Evora."

"We arrived at 2 PM. Room was not ready. Check in time was 3 PM. So that was fine. We came back at 3 PM. They needed more time to clean. Staff asked for my CC. They wrote the information on a piece of paper. NOT ACCEPTABLE! no towels in the room which is fine, maybe they forgot, but we recived the towels 4 hours later after 3 calls and going down to the front desk once. Otherwise, the restaurant was great. Their breakfast and set up was the best among the other 10 hotels we stayed."

"Very relaxing , quiet and zen hotel. Room was beautiful and food was great everywhere including the breakfast buffet. I think the best part of the hotel is the beach access (sun beds included in the price). The only thing is staff could provide higher quality service for the price - they provided conflicting information about the resort facilities at points and didn’t bend over backward to offer transportation to restaurants/spa across the highway; and you have to specifically request them to pick you up at your villa otherwise you have to walk 5-10 minutes to the front lobby to catch the shuttle. We also asked them to book a restaurant for us and they said they were working on it and just never gave us a call back. Also note that you must make restaurant reservations in advance of your stay. There are 2 different hotel locations so the restaurants and rooms/spa are spread out between the two and you need to take the shuttle to get across the highway to the other location."

"We had an excellent night stay! The property is well suited to visit the main part of the town. We took advantage of the pool and the view after a day of driving and exploring. We had made a reservation in town, but the staff were available for questions we had. Our sleep was fantastic and to wake up with that view! Great breakfast the next morning that energized us and got us up and in our way. We would definitely stay again."
