"The photos? Sure, they look decent — but they’re taken at just the right angles and just the right lighting to hide the reality. The place is dated, dark, and dingy. "This house was perfect for us. So clean and welcoming! The products they had here were very nice as well! It was really nice that we were able to cook while being away for a weekend and not having to eat out all the time. They had everything there to use like a normal house. They even had games, toys, and some books for the littles. Very, very, clean and neat! If your wanting to stay in Wadena, we definitely recommend this place! "

"Lake was awesome and fishing was excellent. Parking for 4 cars and 3 boat trailers was not good. Called property mgr for guidance....no call back what so ever. Had to ask the neighbors what they know about it. Dock has no protection from bolts sticking out from the vertical supports... It was strange that the lower level is not internally connected to the upstairs. Pics don't show this and it wasn't a big deal until its raining... "Honestly, it was not great. The young lady at the front was as helpful as she could be. However, there was no tv, ice machine was out, half the lights didn’t work in the room, there also was no iron or iron board in the hotel. I was there because my Uncles funeral was the next day, so that made it tough. Nothing was offered to me and that was more disappointing than anything. Not that I needed something and customer service is first and foremost doing something for your customers, when amenities or whatever it may be are unavailable. Thanks, Andrew "

"Clean property with a beautiful outside sitting area. Everything was brand new and spacious. Missing a few minor things like scissors (although it may just be we looked in the wrong place) but that is understandable being that the place is new and they are just getting started.
