Casa Convent townhouse, located in the heart of the historic centre of Alcudia, surrounded by medieval walls, if you choose Casa Convent you will enjoy a holiday full of atmosphere. The name of the house refers to the almost monastic feeling of well-being and tranquillity. And rightly so: the idyllic roof terrace radiates relaxation on sunny, cosy days. While you let your gaze wander over the colourful rooftops of the old town, you might already be preparing the first dishes on the barbecue. You can round off the day with a good glass of wine in good company, and in the evening you can go for a walk and perhaps a romantic dinner. From the house you can reach one of the good restaurants in the centre of Alcudia in just 3 minutes on foot, which offer both Mediterranean cuisine and typical Mallorcan dishes. The robust town wall invites you to take a stroll, adds a special touch to the townscape and offers a view of the whole town and the marvellous bay.
When you return to your charming townhouse, the many bright colours create a particularly cosy atmosphere. Historic townhouses, which are closely aligned with the idyllic alleyways, should have a well thought-out design for the living spaces. This is clearly the case with this gem: the entrance leads into a living room with a comfortable sofa, where a wooden table invites you to eat together. There is a modern flat-screen TV in the stairwell, which offers the opportunity to enjoy your favourite programmes from home thanks to the satellite connection. The ground floor is entirely dedicated to living: In addition to a bathroom and a comfortably equipped kitchen, there is even a second bedroom here, where comfortable armchairs invite you to linger. The rooms are arranged around a small inner courtyard. On the first floor are the three bedrooms, each with powerful air conditioning units; two of them are furnished with two single beds and the third with an additional double bed (queen-size). On the 2nd floor there is a room with a dining table facing the roof terrace. Here you will also find the washing machine.
The house is so well located that you can reach the small bay of Es Barcarés, which is mainly visited by locals, in just 1.5 km on foot. Platja de San Pere, which offers a good infrastructure for a marvellous day of swimming, is 3 km away. The crystal-clear water is ideal for snorkelling. You will find yourself in the narrow streets of Alcúdia, a harbour town that is still characterised by the majestic buildings of the former nobility. These architectural gems, called Casas Señoriales, are well worth a visit, as is the town's cathedral. At the Hidropark water park, 3 km away, you can try out exciting water slides and then visit the Pto. Alcudia neighbourhood, where there are clothes shops and restaurants on the seafront promenade. The Alcanada Golf Club, with its lush lawns for golfers, is just 5.5 km away.
The terraced house Convent welcomes you in pleasant shades of white and is only 1.5 km from the longest beach in Mallorca, which is ideal for swimming with the family and long walks. Right on the doorstep you can stroll through the picturesque streets of the harbour town of Alcúdia, reach the famous weekly market (Tuesdays and Sundays) in 5 minutes on foot and admire the lush flora and fauna of the Parc Natural de S'Albufera, 6.5 km away.
