"We had a lovely few days in this perfect little property. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay to explore the surrounding area. We had such a relaxed stay and Bertoli and his wife were perfect hosts... we looked forward to our daily gifts of cake or fruit!!! "We loved our farmhouse stay! The kitchen was well-stocked, the bathroom was spotless, and our bed was one of the most comfortable we had on our entire trip! We enjoyed the quiet mornings overlooking the mountains and the proximity to Loule, where we made several outings. Great access to a variety of hikes, as well! Yuliya and Jerome were quick to respond and see to our needs. Check in and out was seamless. A wonderful stay overall!"

"What an oasis of solitude that is close to everything without being disturbed by crowds. We felt like we had the best of everything and felt lucky to have been able to secure our stay. It is a gem of a VRBO. João facilitated the stay, check in and made a point to meet and visit with us. We really did not want to leave and were sorry that we hadn’t scheduled more time. "This is a really nice place, IF you want to be WAY out in the country for hiking. It's very quiet. Nearest market and restaurant is 10km away. There is AC, but no WiFi. There is a TV with cable, and a wood stove. Comfortable get-away."
