"We were in Andalucia for a wedding. Our requirements were nine bedrooms as many bathrooms as possible, and a little bit of space. This is more than filled out expectations. Our hosts were very attentive and very helpful. The location is somewhat removed from both Carmona and Sevilla, but not to remote. We would definitely recommend for large groups and families who need a break from the bustle of the city."

"Rafa sent details before we travelled, also location, met us at property, very welcoming, showed us around. Beautiful villa, everything there to utensils ect to cook if needed. nice to relax by the pool. On hand if needed, great communication without being intrusive, gentleman. We used Ubers regularly a bit out the way, 30 mins from centre, shop, bar walking distance, lovely people. Look forward to staying again. Thankyou so much Rafa again "

"One of a kind, unique retreat to feel closer to the divine, whatever your beliefs. A journey through history, a lesson of the inevitable encounter of the Old and the New Worlds. Exquisite attention to detail and genuine care for their guests. Attentive, discreet, efficient, their staff is superb. And how not not mention their swimming pool, a little piece or paradise in that monastical retreat. Rafael's lessons in history, Azahara's lessons in outstanding service, I only wish I could remrmber the names of each and everyone of those who went well beyond their call of duty to make and unforgettable experience during our stay. Mia and I promised in matrimony in that holy shrine. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Wow!!!! We have just returned from an amazing holiday at La Escribana!!I booked this villa for 15 of us (9 adults and 6 children) for 5 nights for my husband’s 50th birthday celebration and we had a brilliant time. The booking process was seamless and the host was responsive and very helpful. The house is surrounded by lush greenery and a 10 min walk into town though a steep climb for a bit so might not be suitable for all.The house is cosy and tastefully decorated with multiple spaces to relax including outdoors. The kitchen and dining area was the hub for us all to gather together whilst we did some cooking. There are supermarkets in town and Trady’s will deliver! There is a great butchers for Iberian meats and we bought some yummy stuff for my husband’s birthday barbecue party in the garden. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you will need to have a very comfortable stay. Bedrooms were comfortable with big beds, storage space and most with en-suites. The pool was big enough for us all and cleaned regularly. There is a room outside which holds loads of toys and a washing machine/dryer which again made it feel like a home away from home!The children had an amazing time with access to games, even hide and seek in the massive gardens!Lola and Fernando are the caretakers and were fantastic and very responsive via WhatsApp.Constantina is a quaint village with bars and cafes and we even did a day trip to Seville. La Escribana did not disappoint! :)"

"Fantastic property. We had such a lovely holiday. The garden is truly superb, so much so that we spent the majority of our holiday here. The place is spotless, and the owner could not have been more helpful from the time of booking until departure. It is all the little touches that make a difference. On arriving after a long day of travel, it was lovely that there was milk, juice, eggs, bread etc. I thoroughly recommend this house without reservation, in a town, but you wouldn't know it, so quiet in the garden."

"If you want an idyllic stay in the Spanish countryside, this is your place. We were a family of 17 and fit perfectly. The caretakers, Carmen and Jose were so kind and helpful in every way. Carmen prepared fabulous meals for us our entire stay. The location is great for visiting Seville and cordoba. The road to the villa isn’t paved, but it’s a smooth ride. We would definitely return if in the area again. I can’t say enough good things about Carmen, and the solitude of this historic house set among pistachio trees."
