Pros: room was nice, comfortable, spacious and clean. Liked having a kitchen with coffee and tea. Also appreciate having filter machine for water and ice. Staff were very friendly. Location was walkable to the main attractions and to a metro.
Con: just a leak in the bathroom floor.

New hotel was very modern, clean and staff was very nice. Within walking distance of the old town and we found an excellent restaurant nearby (Vinho e Noz). Only complaint was shower drain wasn’t unclogged and soap wasn’t refilled after reporting the problem.

Breakfast was an add on that we opted out of, so cannot comment on that. But the location was close to the square and convenient to everything we needed. The hotel is down a very tight alley, so the taxi dropoff and pickup are a bit of a walk to a wider street - this wasn't an issue for us, but note ...
