(NOTE: Trailers and Moving Trucks and Combinations Thereof Do NOT Fit Through the Sunny Mellow Eco Villa Gate! Call or Text for Details of Possible Workarounds)

Walk the Villa pathways to the other four Rentals, and along the way see The Vineyard, The Orchard, The Garden, The Redwood Yoga Deck, The Solar Array, The Swing, Ping Pong, Horse shoe Pit. Above the property is Lookout ridge (You can see where Billy the Kid posted Lookouts for Stagecoach on Route 66, while his gang camped right here on Sunny Mellow Eco Villa).

After a long drive, this fits the bill for an over night stay. Fresh air and nature. We slept in a comfy room with a view of the night sky. The outdoor bathroom is a very close walk and is lit at night. Robbie, our host was very nice and accommodating.

Perfect Getaway

This property was AMAZING! Hands down one of the most unique property stays. The yurt exceeded our expectations. It's located on a quiet property tucked away from town. Usually my husband and I struggle to sleep well away from our own home, but we slept like babies! The room was nice and cool, the bed was like a cloud and we fell asleep looking through the skylight at the stars above! We will definitely be coming back when we have several days to stay.

The PERFECT Get-Away!!

Staying at Greg and Robbie’s wonderfully charming, clean, and cozy yurt was one of the highlights of my week in New Mexico. Such a thoughtful place with all of the perfect details. Traveling as a solo woman I felt incredibly safe, and cannot wait to return with my three kids the next time I can make it out. If you want an extra special treat, book a massage with certified therapist Greg while you’re there. This place is not to be missed. Truly special.

Much needed getaway

I live in Albuquerque and I took the day off so that I could come to Sunny mellow and decompress. The hosts are both very gracious and kind. I ate fruit from their orchard, walked in the woods all day, and watched a thunder and lightning storm. It was perfect. Thank you Greg and Robbie!

We loved it!

We loved the yoga yurta! How fun to stay in a glamorized yurt! The yurt was so nice and clean. The yurt has its own kitchen, fire pit, bathroom, and shower. We loved exploring the property! We walked through the vineyard, swung on the big swings, did yoga on the deck and played games. We also made dinner in the outdoor kitchen. Everything we needed was included. We loved meeting Greg and his wife and learning about all they’ve done with the property. They were very friendly and welcoming. They even offered to allow us to use their guitar to play music or help us start a fire. We’ll be back soon to stay in the treehouse.

Find Your Peace at the Yoga Yurta

The Yoga Yurta is a great place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle and reconnect to calm. It's exactly as advertised...a super comfortable bedroom that happens to be in a canvas walled yurt. Fall asleep looking up at the stars through the large clear plastic dome in the center of the roof while in the silent foothills of the Sandia Mountains. Enjoy watching the sun set and rise from your private, carefully created, maintained, and comfortable outdoor spaces, then enjoy the rest of the shared grounds. Only 25 minutes from the Albuquerque Airport, but a world away. Gregory is a kind, generous and welcoming host, and we look forward to staying again.

Rest & Relaxation at its best!

Our stay at the Yoga Yurta was one that we will remember for a lifetime. Gregory was an excellent host, so friendly and helpful. The yurt was decorated beautifully, so cozy and eclectic, we absolutely loved the uniqueness of the entire property. Sunny Mellow is a wonderful oasis, which offers privacy and a peaceful stay. We were able to look at the stars from the property. The bed was super comfy in the yurt, and the temperature was perfect. The bathroom facility and shower was outside, just a very short walk from the yurt. It felt refreshing and rejuvenating to shower outdoors. We had such a wonderful time. When we come back to New Mexico, we will definitely book again at Sunny Mellow!!

Yurt, orchard, vineyard, yoga space, in pine scented air

Yurts are awesome. The bed was super comfy. The outdoor kitchen was nicely appointed. We made tea, coffee, and cooked a veggie noodle dish easily. Our private bathroom and shower was clean and a joy to use. Showering in the forest! Amazing views from our site. We picked some grapes and pears from the vineyard/orchard. Maybe we'll catch the plums ripening next time. Greg answered our million questions about how everything works and the history of the property. They are doing sacred work. A great space! We'll be back.
