Stay Old Town Road is a collection of four charming historic adobe homes nestled on one beautiful half acre property that is perfectly located for your visit to Albuquerque.
We’ve set up the property so that guests can help themselves and feel like it’s a home away from home. But we are always just a message or call away if you need help with anything at all. You may spot us or a member of our team around the property during your stay. We won’t bother you with more than a friendly wave or a quick hello.
The BEST neighborhood to get a taste of Albuquerque food and culture- mostly within walking distance! It is a quiet, residential area that both visitors and locals love for the historic charm and convenient location.
The best thing about this stay is that it's in walking distance of so many great places- restaurants, shops, museums, and more. Plus, it's a 5 minute drive to the freeway- a day trip to Santa Fe is about an hour drive from the house.

An absolute treasure! This is a historic home and exactly as described, We appreciated the small touches; a drying rack for clothes, water filter pitcher in the refrigerator, ample dish ware and utensils! The layout affords privacy and comfort! We highly recommend this lodging!

Quaint, homey, attractively furnished, comfortable place with all you could need for a stay l. Extremely convenient location with off street parking and easy walking distance to old town tourist attractions. Park across the street for pets or kids.
We stayed a week at the Homestead and loved it. Here are some highlights: Clean, well supplied, well decorated, convenient location, bed comfort, pet friendly, equipped & supplied kitchen for cooking, games, quiet, dog park, easy & safe parking. Would love to stay there again.
This is a beautifully renovated adobe, classical Albuquerque home located within easy walking distance of Old Town, Museums and great restaurants. For family or 2 couples it has 2 private bedrooms at the far ends of the home with very nice private baths.
Definitely 5 stars on location alone. And definitely 5 stars on this house. It is so charming, clean, and has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. We loved sitting outside in the mornings. Highly recommend!
Owner was very nice. Clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Well placed instructions for any thing you might need or use and a list of nearby places for dining, entertainment, etc... Great location. Across the street to a dog park (we had four dogs) and a short walk to the historic center and nearby museums. We will definitely be staying there again.
We really enjoyed our stay here. I had questions before booking, and the owners were friendly and welcoming from the start. I don’t think the photos do justice to how sweet this place is. It really does feel like you’re staying at your Grandma’s house. It is right across the street from a beautiful park, and it’s an easy walk to old town. This was a nice home base for us to visit family.
This VRBO home welcomed us with a warm embrace! We felt right at home. The house was clean, spacious, historic, and a true portrait of Old Town Albuquerque, New Mexico. We felt welcomed, safe, and that we had complete peace and privacy. The attention to detail was unmatched.
We pulled up to the community and I was already excited! Easy entrance, perfect layout, excellent communication. New Mexican charm. Clean, neat, everything one needs, fabulous location and across from the park. We could not be happier with our stay. This will be our go to when we return to Albuquerque. Thank you for letting us stay in your gorgeous compound.
A multigenerational family converged for the Balloon Fiesta and stayed in an adobe casita that exuded Old Town charm. A park across the street and museums on the opposite side of the park with Old Town shops, restaurants, and Sawmill eateries all within a very short walk. We can’t think of a better place to stay in Albuquerque. Our hosts were very accommodating and provided snacks and handwarmers for the early balloon launches.
There of us really liked this clean, inviting, charming, comfirtable, and very well located casita in the historic part of Albuquerque. The front porch was delightful for morning coffee. Have to say our host Katelyn was exceptional. She checkied in with us after our first night to make sure everything was ok, gave restaurant suggestions, etc. Would love to come back!
I am a well-travelled vrbo renter and this property is one of my favorites so far. Fully accurate description of the property, amenities, location and resources nearby. Great owner communication from reservation through check-out and everything in-between. Historic and comfortable. Quaint and up to date. Close to so many cool places within walking distance. Thank you Katelyn & Daniel!
The photos give an accurate representation of the property. The half-wall between the kitchen and the living area is made of authentic adobe bricks (i.e., bricks handmade of mud and straw). The owners have lovingly restored the casitas on this property and kept what they could of the original construction. Check-in is easy and the owners quickly respond to messages. Located on the edge of Tigeux Park, the location is perfect for visiting Old Town ABQ, the Sawmill area, the Albuquerque Museum, the Children's Museum, and the Natural History Museum. All are located around the park and within easy walking distance of the house. The park has an expansive children's playground, a parcourse, a basketball court, lovely mature trees, and plenty of space to walk your pup. Poop bag dispensers and receptacles encourage responsible clean-up.
