We loved it here! It's beautiful and clean, the staff were amazing, the location is great. It's in the action but if you want to stay in for the night it's quiet in the room. I 100% recommend staying at Vila Origins.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was attentive, the rooms were very clean, and large bathroom. We loved the beautiful pool and cabanas and the breakfast was unbelievable. I highly recommend this place if you’re in doubt no negatives at all.

The staff is soooo hospitable! The location is amazing. It is like a slice of heaven. The rooms are charming and the grounds are well-kept and beautiful. Paola, Vera and Anna get VERY high marks!

An incredible hotel!

An amazing hotel in a perfect location. It is in the middle of everything but there is a sense of seclusion. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are contential and always changing. They give you a sense of some of the local foods.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great continental breakfast. There was noise from the streets in the room I had. I didn’t like the fitted sheet on the bed, it was not crisp and had pilling, however I did not share my concerns about it with the staff, and I’m certain they would have addressed the issue should I have brought it up. They were very accommodating and everything else was excellent

An oasis of calm

This really is an oasis of calm and comfort amongst the madness of albufeira. The team at vila origens were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with good choice of continental food (eggs also available), they had a small menu of lunch items but no evening meal. This wasnt a problem as so many restaurants in the vicinity.

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the Old Town. Staff were all excellent and very helpful and we had a really enjoyable stay. The champagne breakfast was excellent. Our ‘Happy night’ room was a good size and all the facilities were excellent. The pool area and hot tub terrace were beautiful with sun loungers and seating. Will definitely stay again if we visit Albufeira in the future.

Excellent Experience. Very nice property close to beach and main square. Excellent Service. The included breakfast is amazing. 5 stars all the way around. Parking is a challenge in the entire area, so if you rent a car, i recommend to drive to the hotel, unload tge bags and then park the car.

This really is an oasis in the middle of Albufeira Old town. As other guests have mentioned in reviews, the service by the staff could not be faulted - they are excellent, they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is wonderful. The hotel itself is gorgeous and such a lovely place to stay. I highly recommend staying at Vila Origens and hope to have another visit someday! Special shout-out to Paulo, his customer service and hospitality was amazing.

Vila Origens is an amazing find. It is in the heart of the old town of Albufeira, literally built next to the city castle wall, hence their name. Their infinity pool is right next to the 1000 year old castle wall, with a breathtaking view of the village hills. This is a new vila so while the location is ancient, the facility is cutting edge including floor heating in the bathroom which dries up the shower remnants rapidly and leaving the bathroom fresh. The free breakfast buffet consists of an amazing spread of local cheese, cured meats, pastry and fruit, a king’s feast all presented on a nice platter brought to our table. The best part of this place is the staff, particularly Vera who was born in town and a true local and gave us the local view of this old fishing village that has in the last 15 years turned into a hot tourist spot. If you are looking for a boutique resort with all the amenities you can ask for, in the best location of town and a super nice staff, Vila Origens is it!

Fantastic Hotel

Not only is the hotel itself beautiful, with a lot of attention to detail, the staff is also wonderful! Paulo was extremely kind and welcoming. He went the extra mile of making up a breakfast to go bag for us since we would be missing breakfast our first morning there due to an early tour. Make sure not to miss their breakfasts though. They are delicious and come with a large amount of food as well as juices, coffee and champagne if you want it. It is also centrally located enough to travel many places on foot, but far enough away from the nightlife area of town that you can still get a good nights rest. Overall, my husband and I were extremely happy with our stay here.

Amazing Hotel

We had a little problem with the check in but everything else was amazing! We booked a late check in (1am) and was told this was fine just ring the bell or call the number. So we sat outside the Hotel ringing the bell and phoning the number but no-one answered. Fortunately there was another number on the Hotels.com app which we called and even though we woke up a previous employee, he was very helpful and contacted the Director. Once in we were blown away with the service and comfort of the property. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were very apologetic about the mess up with the check in. Breakfast was delightful and massive! All served at your table with champagne, fresh orange juice and tea or coffee. Selection of cured meats and cheeses with fresh bread rolls(a variety), cooked eggs, a traditional Nata and freshly cooked Croissants. The room we had was very nicely decorated and a large comfortable bed. Super quick internet which is unusual in a hotel and a TV with Netflix! We had a balcony on our room which topped it off so we could enjoy some sunshine with a glass of wine. On thing we found a little surprising is the balcony is a joint balcony with one other room which we felt could be sectioned off. Location wise it is ideally suited for those who want everything on your doorstep and easy to walk down to a restaurant or for a cocktail or 2! All in all we loved Villa Origens and will be definitely coming back next year.
