"Wir fühlten uns gleich bei der Ankunft Herzlich Willkommen. Unser kleiner Mann hatte gleich das ganze Spielzeug in Beschlag genommen. "Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft in Fischbach war super angenehm. Das Apartment war sehr sauber und modern. Die Küche mehr als ausreichend bestückt mit Backofen, Herd, Mikrowelle Kaffeemaschine etc…das Bett echt bequem. Wir waren wirklich positiv überrascht. Check in und out ohne Probleme. Great Property…Killer view!

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"Just back from a visit to Idar-Oberstein. Parking was easy, I arrived after 10pm so reception was closed but a staff member was able to quickly get me checked in. Room was perfect for my stay. Hotel is close to the Felsenkirche and castles. The Norma shop is 2 minutes walk away and there are several places to eat in the square."

"We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. We found everything we needed in the apartment, which is very big and cozy and the landscape is amazing. The place is beautiful, so peaceful, not so far from the lake and the shops are also in the nearby. Ursula and Gerd, the owners, are very kind and friendly. We would love to go back to this apartment for our next holiday! We want to thank Ursula and Gerd for their kindness!"

"I was extremely happy with my stay at Hotel Landgrafen-Mühle. My room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and reasonably priced. The hotel is very well run, and the staff was super helpful and friendly (and English speaking). Picturesque property, best schnitzel I had in Germany, and wonderful quiet. I left feeling calmed and recharged. A true gem, and I couldn’t recommend it more."

"Great location, spacious room, comfortable beds, very nice restaurant on premises, and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Overall a very pleasant experience. Important - if you're driving, the am Frucktmarkt address will only get you close due to pedestrian only zones. There is a parking garage in back (with a different address) that has direct access to the hotel - call ahead and get that street address and save yourself a walk."
