Great location

The property is "humble" but in a very good location and the property manager was responsive. The unit is spacious but could use a comfortable chair or small sofa to relax on. The only chairs were straight back kitchen chairs.

Beautiful village and lovely host

High in the mountains of Piedmont, the village of Albaretto has views over hazelnut groves and vineyards to the Alps. The property has a small terrace with sunshine and a view to die for. The accommodation is simple, clean and comfortable with Federico a warm and genial host. He even found some lost sunglasses for us. Highly recommended.

Fijne vakantie in Piemonte

Het appartement was netjes en op een broodmes na compleet. De communicatie met de verhuurder was er niet! Bij aankomst moesten we zoeken waar deze heer was en hij sprak alleen Italiaans en een beetje Frans. Wij zijn een dag eerder weg gegaan, hebben de verhuurder meerdere malen gezocht om dit te melden maar hebben hem niet gevonden. De locatie was top!

Wunderschöner Ausblick

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt bei Frederico. Es gab ein leckeres Frühstück mit Haselnusskuchen und einer großen Tasse Kaffee. Die Wohnung war sauber und hatte einen tollen Balkon. Auch die Ausstattung war super geeignet um sich selbst zu verpflegen. Absolute Empfehlung! Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Herrlicher Blick

Das Highlight gleich vorweg: Die Terrasse bietet einen Panoramablick über die Langhe und die westliche Po-Ebene bis hin zu den Alpen. Die Ferienwohnung selbst ist zweckmäßig, aber nicht sehr komfortabel eingerichtet, vor allem lässt die Küchenausstattung deutliche Wünsche offen. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen am Ortsausgang von Albaretto. Im diesem Ortsteil gibt es allerdings keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die nächsten Läden liegen zwischen 3 und 8 km entfernt. Aufgrund der zentralen Lage in den Langhe ist die Wohnung aber auch ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungsfahrten im südöstlichen Piemont. Der Vermieter ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, so dass auch spontane Wünsche (wie z. B. ein Frühstück am Tag nach der abendlichen Anreise) erfüllt wurden.

Appartement 2 pièces avec tout ce qu'il faut, terrasse avec vue magnifique, propriétaire accueillant et faisant l'effort de parler français pour nous, grande chambre et très bon lit. Excellent séjour dans 1 région magnifique, à découvrir et à revoir !!!

Very good quality/price in Langhe hills

A very comfortable flat in a farmstead; all the fixtures and fittings that you need, and an excellent location high up, with your own terrace to enjoy the views. I can recommend the region - very like Chianti in some ways, with an Alpine backdrop. The Porello family run it well.

"Albaretto della Torre is...

"Albaretto della Torre is a very nice village on one of the Langhe hills. The appartment is part of a wine- & nut-farmyard with a splendid view over the Langhe hills up to the Alp ridge. There are several other guest rooms available also for bed and breakfast. Also very interesting for bikers! The hosts were very friendly and the appartment was really affordable. Alba is about 20min by car. We enjoyed our stay there and would like to come back some time soon."
