"The most wonderful host Esteban and a beautiful property for our vacation was certainly a highlight. Esteban communicated promptly to any questions we had, the extra perks were incredible. Property is clean, has everything one needs to make it a home away from home. Location is peaceful and near all attractions of the area. I recommend this beautiful place and Esteban."

"This is a unique property with a remarkable owner who will make you feel at home. The property has an excellent location, being only a couple of blocks from the a stunning Basilica of Chiquinquira and a lively square full of bars and restaurants. There's also an attractive "ecoturistico", los Currucuyes, the John Paul 2nd park and mountain cycle routes used by some of the best cyclists in the world. "I stayed at El Mirador de Villa de Leyva from Friday to Sunday and overall had a great experience. The hotel is rustic and simple, but the view from the room is absolutely stunning—overlooking all of Villa de Leyva and the surrounding mountains. That view alone made the stay worth it. The room was spacious and clean, with hot water and a comfortable temperature (no A/C needed). It’s quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The hotel includes a small restaurant where they serve a basic Colombian breakfast—nothing fancy but good enough to start the day. I didn’t try lunch or dinner. Staff is limited but very friendly and attentive. One thing to keep in mind: the road to the hotel is unpaved. Our GPS first sent us through a steep back entrance that felt unsafe—make sure to use the front road instead. While the hotel isn’t within walking distance of the plaza, it’s a short drive away. Once there, you’ll find tons of restaurants (local and international) at great prices, plus plenty of shops to buy souvenirs and crafts. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic, no-frills place to stay with one of the best views in town, I’d definitely recommend it. "
