"The room was not like the images advertised. I was told by my Spanish friend I should of received a code to get in from the company but all I had was the confirmation email. Arriving i then had to call and whatsap to gain access to the place which was added stress. Whilst I got a response straight away this could of been avoided. "The rooftop terrace was excellent. Great use of the space to relax when you don’t want to go the beach. The location was also great, 2 min walk if that from the beach. 10 min walk to restaurants/supermarkets. Aircon worked perfect and the beds were comfy (if you like firm, which we do) All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the rooms themselves aren’t cleaned very well. We stayed in 3 different rooms and all 3 rooms were poorly cleaned. Dust, dirt, hairs etc on the floor. It seems as though cleaning is done very surface level and furniture isn’t moved, so the floors don’t get cleaned properly. Our final room, whilst the hairdryer worked, it was falling apart and the toilet seat was loose. The rooms would benefit from being checked after cleaning/maintained. This was a shame as the rest of the property was great and we enjoyed our stay bar the took cleanliness. Sound travels quiet easily through the rooms so you can often here other guests."

"Beautiful beach view from the dining hall. Plentiful breakfast buffet included and exciting ancient necropolis caves a 10 minute walk down the beach. Staff were very kind and helpful and the room was nice quality and very well cleaned. The only thing to have in mind is that there isn’t a bus from there on Sundays which was the plan I had. Overall great place"

"Nice location. Pleasant staff. Average hotel. Pros: The staff at the pool and the dining area were good. Cons: 1. As per the staff, tap water is not safe to drink. 2. Need to pay for every small things. Need to weigh your bags in cloak room---pay; need water---pay; want to use the safe---pay; need water when dining---pay! 3. Substandard rooms. Rooms felt like we were back to early 2000s 4. No basic toiletries (except for hand wash and shampoo) was provided. Body wash provided was actually hand wash soap. 5. As a first time traveller, any and all information about the stay, visit to the beach, travelling to other location etc. was severely lacking, i.e., it was not given automatically. Such information was provided only when asked. For example, we wanted to travel to the airport, so were told to take a bus, but no one told us from where to catch the bus. We were told (when the bus did not arrive from where we were expecting it to come) at the very last minute before departure where the bus would arrive (the location was behind the hotel premises). "

Torre Vella – Fontenille Collection

10/10 Excellent

"From the moment we drove in we knew we’d love Torre Vella and every moment was better and better. The staff were so super nice and accommodating. The location was quiet and exactly what we were looking for. The area is close to beaches and seeing other areas of the island. We will definitely return next year as we loved our stay there. "
