The first time we waited to check in, the receptionist ignored us as if we were invisible. On our later return, her colleague checked us in without a smile.
Our room had a very small, hard bed and a bathroom so small, you could not fully open the door. It all looked very old and tired and the aircon was noisy and ineffectual. At breakfast, my request for scrambled eggs muted into over -cooked, oil -saturated and inedible fried eggs. The service was indifferent, just like reception.
