"We had a great time here with our dogs. It’s nestled in a secluded area, with just one other cabin around. Yet it was only about a 5 - 7 min drive to Cloudcroft. We loved the outdoor fire pit in the balcony. It was also nice for bird watching. There were bird feeders and feed for them. We saw some blue jays and hummingbirds. Very tranquil environment. We loved that they provided everything for us from wifi to firewood to bottled water and even breakfast and snacks! The compost toilet was a small inconvenience but was odorless and nice that they’re thinking of environmentally sound ways to deal with waste. Rebecca was also very responsive. Our only suggestion would maybe be some softer lighting in the living room for the evening. We would definitely stay again."

"Shower head was not working properly. Phone and clock in room did not working. Most, but not all of the staff was friendly. Staff seemed to only interact with locals. Not very attentive to other’s. Food, drinks, and atmosphere are great."

"What a wonderful stay for my family. We spent 3 night in this beautiful cabin tucked away in the mountains of Cloudcroft. When we arrived we couldn’t help but notice how clean it was. This was especially refreshing since it is a dog friendly property. The owner was perfectly communicative and not at all intrusive or pushy. We loved the accessibility to a nearby hiking trail as well as a quick drive to the town of Cloudcroft. I highly recommend staying for a little peace & quiet at this amazing spot!"
