(The eye village)
It originated in the tenth century AH and is more than 400 years old. The village was built on top of a white mountain and is famous for planting bananas, lemons, peppers, basil, cady, and handicrafts. The village includes many houses consisting of two to four floors, a small mosque and many forts used to defend the village and observe. The village has its own association that takes care of its affairs, as the association published a statistic for the number of visitors and they have reached 100,000 since the association was established only. The village is also among ten sites that the Saudi government approved in November 2014 to ask UNESCO to include it in the World Heritage List in the coming years
